  I had a friend visit from overseas and wanted to take him to this restaurant. My friend has allergies to the point of smelling this food can cause breathing issues. So I called ahead and asked if they could accommodate allergies and spelled out the particular allergy. The person who answered the phone said yes, come on in. We get there and get seated and tell our server who goes to check with someone. Then he came back and said I checked with the manager, and they said the only thing they could serve is plain pasta with no sauce. So we said alright and got up and left. So, why on earth would you have the person on the phone say you can accommodate allergies? I feel like they just did not want to deal with it. I thought this restaurant had freshly prepared food, but maybe everything is a mix after all? I do not expect them to just automatically be able to accommodate allergies, hence why I called ahead... Baffling. Usually we get decent service and yummy food, but this experience sucked and was embarrassing.

  Ryan was our server and he was awesome, had a great attitude add to that he knew the menu and offered valuable input on the dishes, the food all came out hot and soooooooo fresh it tasted delicious and I have several reasons to come back soon and very soon

  What a wonderful lunch experience. Ryan did an excellent job serving us. We had the honor of meeting the manager and were so impressed with his friendliness and positive attitude. Everything was fresh and made in restaurant. Lasagna and Rosa Marie 10 out of 10. Looking to return soon for another lunch date. Great choice!!!!

  This was my first time going to a caravas in. Texas, and I was truly disappointed. The appetizers were just okay, but were they truly feel short? Was the main courses? My scallops were undercooked and mushy. My wife's salmon came out raw. Any additions or changes? We had to other main courses. Just weren't done. We had to have several dishes sent back, and they still came back wrong. And then at the end, I was charged incorrectly. So to alleviate any more, extra swiping of my credit card. I paid in cash and multiple charges still went through despite a very clear and concise conversation with the waitress about canceling the charges. I don't know if this is the only carava's location. But if there are others, I will try them. But this one just truly disappointed me and put a Damper on such a huge and important date.

  The food was great and we really enjoyed our meal, but unfortunately, the service left me with a horrible experience. Main issue we gave the waitress my debit card and a $100.00 bill and told her to charge $50.00 to the card and the rest in cash, which she did correctly. However, the next day, someone reversed the $50.00 charge and charged the full amount to my card. When I called to fix it, I was told that my family and I supposedly left without paying — which is completely false. I even asked them to review their cameras because we absolutely paid before leaving. It’s disappointing because the food and atmosphere were great, but this situation with the new waitress and how it was handled completely ruined the experience
