Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I’m a regular here. I normally get a burger, fries, and drink along with other orders for my family. Today I got the buffalo chicken pieces and combo. I’m missing THREE pieces. Normally I deal with “LUKE” if there’s ever an issue with my meal.. like if it’s missing cheese or if they accidentally gave me a medium fry instead of my usual whatasize. There’s ways to prove and correct that because if it’s missing a slice of cheese/jalapenos or a whatasize fry, then you can compare to what’s in the bag or on the burger. There’s no way to track chicken bites in a bowl, if it’s missing, it’s just missing. Anyway, I called to let them know.. a woman name Kamren answers and she placed me on hold for 7+ minutes which was way too long in my opinion. By minutes 6 I’m already in my car driving up there to have my meal replaced, because by this time, my fries are already cold and my drink is watery and I’m STILL missing 3 pieces of chicken. Kamren comes back on the phone to tell me she reviewed FOOTAGE from a camera where she says she saw her employee. So I’m thinking great, they can see it’s missing my chicken but she says no, it’s right. So I’m confused because it says NINE pieces, I paid for NINE pieces not SIX.. she said well it did have 9, my employee placed 9 pieces. I’m appalled so at this point she’s basically calling me a LIAR and questioning my integrity! As a repeat customer, Luke has always taken great care of me and my family - hardly ever any mistakes when he’s making our meals and always double checks my bags before I leave. This level of customer service is superior because like I said, hardly ever any mistakes and IF there was, he’d fix them in that moment. Never had I ever had to deal with someone questioning my integrity like this woman Kamren. Honestly, you guys are going downhill without Luke. When I walked into the store, I just wanted my money back because I didn’t even feel like whataburger deserved my business at this point! By the way, the restaurant was dirty and I almost slipped because the floor was very greasy, 2 horseflies flying all over the kiosk machines behind the counter.. just a gross feeling overall. Anyway I went over to Wingstop instead.

    This has got to be the slowest Whataburger location I have ever tried to get breakfast from. As I was pulling into the drive-thru, there were already 5 cars ahead of me and the car in front of me was waiting to order. 5 minutes later, he placed his order. 15 minutes later, neither he nor I moved an inch, so he moved out of line and left. Just as that car was leaving, someone finally asked to take my order. I told them nevermind and left. I was running 45-minutes early to work when I chose to pull in. No use wasting anymore time there. So I drove to McDonald's. I wasn't even in line more than 4 minutes at McD's. In and out like clockwork.

    I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Whataburger. I waited for my order, only to realize they completely forgot to give me my food. I watched four different customers who arrived after me get their orders before I ever received anything. No apology, no explanation, nothing. If you’re looking for fast service or basic attention to your order, this is definitely not the place. Extremely disappointing. I literally walked out with no food. Got tired of waiting.

    This place is amazing the music the people who serve and take your order and the managers are outstanding i am still amazed at how whataburger keeps up there good customer service especially when there employees relate and just know how to read a person so well that interaction can only be found at whataburger 😁

    I had such a great experience at this Whataburger! The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Jajuan Allison — he was incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure everything was perfect during our visit. You can tell he truly cares about the customers and keeps things running smoothly. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and our order came out quickly. Thank you, Jajuan, for making our dinner a great one!
