  Alerria was such a great server! Thank you for giving some of the best service we’ve had in while; she definitely deserves a raise!! Sat outside with pups & accommodated us well.

  Thalia was our bartender. She was welcoming and very attentive. We are sitting from out of town and she engaged in conversation with us to provide suggestions and help us find things to do in the area that we wouldn’t normally do at home including local BBQ spots to try.

  When I lived in Houston, my family would gather there weekly. We’d sit at the bar and had a good bartenders always with good food. Yesterday I drove 6 hours from where I lived and visited what was our favorite spot, somewhere about 4:30pm. So I ordered an Espresso Martini ($14) and my husband and son ordered a tower of beer. The tower was filled halfway which is not a full tower, I asked the manager if I could please have some powdered cinnamon on top and perhaps something to make a bit sweeter so he said “yes of course”. He brings it back and it was better, said he added RumChata and that’s all he said, my glass was not even filled close to the top. So we had lunch and when the server (who spilled water on my feet for being clumsy) brings my tab I noticed that I was charged an EXTRA $10.50 for adding a small amount of RumChata. So I asked the same manager about the charge he said he had to charge for the RumChata and offered a free appetizer card. My son who is a bartender asked him if he had added more than an ounce of RumChata and he said no then he said he didn’t know. It looked like he added maybe half an ounce and got upset because my son was explaining that he was charging for liquor not added to my drink. That just made me very upset and felt like he was overcharging for something that was not given to the customer. Manager would not disclose his name just his initials BM. Ok long story short it’s like fraud so I will not be driving to visit this facility again. And Mr Manager please get some people skills! I haven’t never encountered such rude behavior from a manager. So make sure you check you tabs people! Or just don’t go there, I know I’ll never go back when I visit Houston. Good luck Brick house and Mr B.M.✌️

  Stopped into Brickhouse Tavern while waiting to pick someone up from the airport. It was the perfect spot to settle in for a bit without feeling rushed. The food was good, the service was great, and the staff made it easy to just relax and enjoy the time. Plenty of space to spread out, get comfortable, and hang for a few hours out on the patio! Let’s go Astros! If you need a reliable place near the airport to grab a good meal and wait it out, this is a great option. Would definitely come back and use the space again.

  Five-Star Service in the Middle of Accidental Humble? Thalia Just Saved Our Lunch (and Our Sanity) Listen, we didn’t mean to end up in Humble, Texas. One wrong turn, a GPS having an existential crisis, and suddenly DS and I are starving in what felt like sports-bar purgatory. But then—boom—Brick House Tavern + Tap appeared like a neon-lit oasis of hope, and Thalia (bartendress extraordinaire) turned our random detour into the best unplanned lunch date since… well, ever. We plopped down at the bar like two lost travelers, and Thalia greeted us with the kind of warm, no-BS energy that says, “I got you, fam.” She wasn’t just slinging drinks and food—she was running the show like a benevolent bar overlord who actually cares if you leave happier than when you sat down. Drinks? Perfectly poured, ice-cold, and timed so we never had that awkward “where’s my refill” stare-down. She knew the menu like she wrote it herself and made killer recommendations that had us moaning into our plates (in the good way, get your minds out of the gutter). The vibe at Brick House is peak sports-centric tavern: walls of TVs blasting every game under the sun, that lively-but-not-overwhelming buzz, and an inventive American pub menu that actually delivers. We demolished whatever deliciousness she steered us toward—juicy burgers, crispy apps, you name it—and every bite was tavern fare upgraded to “why don’t I eat here every week?” territory. Hearty portions, bold flavors, zero disappointments. Even the accidental-Humble location felt cozy and welcoming instead of “we took a wrong exit and now we live here.” But real talk: Thalia was the MVP. Funny, fast, attentive without hovering, and she made two hungry wanderers feel like regulars who’d been coming for years. In a sea of meh service, she’s the reason this place punches way above its weight. If you’re anywhere near FM 1960 in Humble (or even if you’re not—make the pilgrimage), slide into a bar seat and ask for Thalia. Tell her the couple who got gloriously lost sent you. Brick House Tavern + Tap + Thalia = 10/10, would get “accidentally” lost again in a heartbeat. Pro tip: Order whatever she suggests. You’ll thank me later. 🍔🍹🏆
