Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They have us waiting this long with the tables not clean or wiped down… let alone the atmosphere and the workers aren’t showing any expression of gratitude or solidarity of wanting to be working here. Me and my cousins had recently gotten a flat tire before this and we were starving so we wanted to get whataburger. As we entered we were waiting a good 7 mins alone waiting for a worker to take our order. By this time it’s been an hour fully and most likely still going. I will be expecting a hot and fresh meal. They do not feel like working today clearly. As I was typing this the workers were laughing how the fries deep fryer barely had anymore oil. I would not recommend this location if you’re wanting fast food because that’s not the case here.

I saw an employee pick at her nose with her blue glove on and as I continued to watch her she proceeded to make gravy. Unprofessional and unsanitary overall.
