Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AAAngelica Allen4 days ago1.0Rudest lady ive experienced. Mad at me cause I went through drive thru and waited 20 min at 12 am with no cars behind me after asking me to pull around and gave me no napkins, straws or sauces. So I had to get out and walk to the door which was locked and had the rudest attitude. Will not be back and hopefully she won’t either. No one wants to spend $30 and wait 25 min and get rude service.

I ordered 2 things, waited in the parking lot for over 15 minutes after going through the drive thru and being told to pull to the front for my food; I waited another 5 or so minutes being blocked in from all the cars that were waiting for food in the tiny parking lot. I then recieve a bag of half fresh, half old fries; an over-sauced, haphazardly thrown together sandwhich with a small chunk missing out of the bun. Please go elsewhere for your Whataburger needs.

The black older gentleman, the janitor, was outside cleaning the parking lot (picking up trash, discarded food, etc) … I left the door open for him when I entered as he was coming behind me. I thought nothing of it until he goes behind the counter and proceeds to start bagging up to go orders, and fixing drinks with those same filthy blue gloves on!!! I WAS SHOCKED, as I just seen him pick up trash. Yuck, I immediately asked him to change his gloves bc I witnessed what he was doing just 30 seconds ago. He became so upset! Made some insulting comments under his breath, something along the lines of my kind being the only one who complains. He was so angry that he was shaking, all because I kindly asked him to change out of gloves that I physically seen him touching the ground with, to serve other customers. Oh no, this is my last straw with this location. I called corporate as well.
