Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I had went to whataburger to order me and my fiancé and kids some food , I ordered a lot of food and omg the service was quick but when we got home and ate the food everyone in my house started throwing up and having upset stomach’s 😩😩

Starting with the #10 Whatachick’n sandwich, before I even tasted this lifeless, rough, rubbery, pancake flat bun sandwich they call the Whatachick’n, it looked okay. Like something you would eat if there was nothing in the house and you did not feel like cooking. But that is just based on looks. When I took a bite, it was a completely different story. It was cold. Not fully cold, but that weird in between, like semi cold mixed with room temp. The first bite felt like what I imagine chewing a tire must be like. Just straight rubber. As I was biting into it, it felt so stretchy I swear I could have done a cheese pull. I actually tried and I could barely even finish that first bite. I had to pull so hard that the chicken fillet literally tore apart just so I could get through it. That same rubbery, tough feeling kept going for three more bites, and after that, I was done. I could not keep forcing myself to eat something that felt like punishment. Now for the #13 Whatachick’n strips. I got four. When they are fresh, I actually enjoy them, especially with the fancy ketchup I ordered two of, but of course I did not receive a single one. So I had to eat them dry.
Before even eating them, I still had that disgusting rubber taste from the sandwich stuck in my mouth. The #13 was a combo with fries and a drink, so I was at least looking forward to a nice, refreshing Dr Pepper. But no, I did not get that either. So now I am sitting here with four dry strips, no ketchup, no drink, just disappointment. But I still had fries, so it could not be that bad, right? Wrong. Because apparently I am not allowed to have anything fresh or even warm from Whataburger. The fries followed the same theme, absolutely cold. Honestly, they were probably the coldest thing out of everything I got. I ate a couple, and they tasted just like the sandwich, cold rubber. That same lifeless, gross texture. As for the four Whatachick’n strips, they were meh. Okay at best. Nothing special, nothing worth it. I did not even get napkins. I am sorry to whoever had to make my food, but it is obvious they did not care at all. Nothing I asked for was there. It just felt careless, like my whole order was thrown together with zero effort. Also, since I ordered through Uber Eats, I cannot say this is completely Whataburger’s fault. Uber Eats likely played a role in how everything turned out.

We met here before going to a contest. We walked in and waited for a long while, never being greeted . I asked if we could place our order and was met with a very hostile give me a minute. We ordered and then waited 30 minutes for my daughter's meal.

The fries were cold and burnt, I asked for no ice in my drink (drink had ice), and my burger was made wrong. The crazy part is the way I wanted everything was on the receipt!!! 😩
