    I had just completed working 21 days, back to back at 15 hours or more every single day and didn't feel like cooking on this particular Monday evening so I decided on a quick burger from Wendy's. This location has always been my go to for my eat bad/cheat days because it's centrally located to my job and home. I order the exact same thing to eat every single time I get food from here without fail. It's not a difficult or crazy order by any means and I always go through the drive-thru. I order the single combo and my burger with mayo and cheese only; medium sized with a coke to drink. That's it. Most of the time my burger comes out exactly how I ordered it. The fries are more hit or miss with them either so salty they're inedible or they're lukewarm at best and not crispy at all. I just tell myself the fries are actually for my 5 dogs anyway and I don't worry about it but, this time I actually did want some fries. I pulled up to the speaker and was immediately "greeted" by a female's gruff,aggresively toned voice saying "YOUR ORDER!!??"..."YOUR ORDER!!??" I politely asked "How are you doing today?" I got no response so I quickly began to order. I started my order by asking, clearly and courteously, if I could order a single combo with mayo and cheese only on my burger with a coke to drink but I wasn't able to get the "mayo and cheese only" out of my mouth before I was rudely cut off. I tried to repeat my order again calmly and she cut me off mid sentence saying "YOUR DRINK??!!" "YOUR DRINK??!!" Mind you the time was 8:40pm on a Monday and I was the only customer in the drive thru and restaurant and they weren't closing for another hour or more. I wasn't rude to her at all!! WORD TO THE WISE: If there's one major thing I've learned about food service workers in all my numerous adult years of being on this planet, it's to never anger someone who's handling your food esp not in the drive thru. So, I maintained my already pleasant mood whilst attempting to complete my order. Before I pulled up to the window, I checked the screen to make sure my order was correct and it wasn't. I had to repeat the order for the third time. When I got to the window the window opened and an arm shot out of it towards me impatiently and motioned with her open hand to basically hurry up and give her my payment. I handed her my card and while she was running it I smiled at her and asked again, how her day was going. For the second time I got no response. Side note for anyone thinking that this was a language barrier issue; it in fact was not. I speak spanish fluently and I've heard this particular employee speak clear english TO ME previously. She handed my card back to me with my included drink but no receipt. I had to request the receipt 3 times before she finally and begrudgingly shoved it into my hand at the same time she handed me my bag of food. I took a sip of my coke and it was flat. I reached into the bag for a french fry and discovered the fries weren't hot and mostly soft or undercooked. Overall this was a very disappointing experience. Funny thing is that I finally have a legit reason to never return and you can bet on it that I never will. Just remember folks, kindness is free and so is understanding and empathy but there does come a point when the reality of what poor customer service is and how it's happening in real time to you and you have to make the decision to move on elsewhere. This is exactly what I did. I hope your experiences at this location go better than mine did on that Monday evening and I hope that worker lady's day turned around positively or for the better. Sincerely gonna miss that square paddy.😒😢🥹
