Had ordered a Footlong Cheesy Garlic sub🥖 and on a previous day a Salad 🥗 Chicken & Bacon Ranch. Enjoyed both! Will order again and try the other Steak subs! Sat in and it's fairly quiet late evening. Plus it's open late!

Dear customer relations, I am writing to report a concerning experience at the Subway location at 2009 Yale Street, Houston, Texas 77008 on Saturday, March 14, 2026. At approximately 11:40 PM, I arrived at the restaurant with my children after returning from a 17-hour flight. We were extremely hungry and looking forward to purchasing food before the store’s posted closing time. When we approached the door at approximately 11:43 PM, we noticed that it was locked despite the store hours displayed on the door indicating the location closes at 12:00 AM. While standing outside, I observed two individuals inside the restaurant. One was a female employee working behind the counter who I later identified as Alicia by her name tag, and the other was a Hispanic male in plain clothing who did not appear to be an employee. As we stood outside, the employee repeatedly yelled through the door that the store was closed. I attempted to show her the time on my phone and explained that it was only 11:43 PM, well before the posted closing time. After approximately two minutes, the male who was inside the store unlocked the door and allowed us to enter. Once inside, I asked Alicia why the restaurant had been closed early despite the posted hours stating midnight. Shortly after we began placing our order, my son politely asked Alicia if she could unlock the restroom because he needed to use it. She responded that the restroom was closed because it had already been cleaned. I explained that we were paying customers and that my son needed to use the restroom. Alicia then stated that her manager, Maria, instructed staff to keep the restroom locked once it had been cleaned and not to reopen it. I found both situations extremely concerning. Closing the store early despite posted hours and refusing restroom access to paying customers due to cleaning is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service customers expect from your brand. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated. I would also appreciate being contacted by a member of management regarding this incident at your earliest convenience.

I ordered online and watched my footlong roast beef sandwich being made with only two thin slices spread out to look like it covered the bread. I was told that was 5 oz. 2 thin slices of roast beef. 5 oz….. let that sink in. Guy insisted that it was the right amount. I didn’t take the sandwich that I paid for and left. Not coming back.

Avoid this subway, especially online order. Rude, slow and couldn’t care less about customers

The toppings were old and soggy. Pickles were sour like they have been left open for weeks. Lettuce was also sour, soggy and slimy. Very stingy on the toppings and put very little even when you ask for more. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
