    John has the worse customer service skills EVER!! I asked for bags of ice and he told me it wasn’t on sale. Not sure if it was because of my skin color or what but for this being my first time shopping here he definitely gave me a reason to not come back. After telling him it wasn’t for me he replied “I don’t care”

    I come and shop here often— whether it be through curbside pickup, in store or delivery due to the location and its convenience, along with the coupons and deals offered. I had a good experience for the most part, specifically when I’m in store but when it comes to curbside pickup, the associates are a bit rough with my items and I have had times where some of my items were damaged but it wasn’t a big deal. What really made me upset was when I placed a delivery order yesterday afternoon, with the delivery window being between 6-7pm. Not only did the shopping start late, but it was also delivered late and I had a TERRIBLE experience. For reference, I reside in an apartment complex that has multiple floors. The delivery instructions along with the address provided implies that I live on a specific floor. The delivery driver was on the way around 8pm, which was already late, but texted and said that there was something wrong with the app so to send my address. I sent my address, along with my unit number. They then arrive and ask how do they get inside. I told them the instructions and also stated that the front desk/concierge would give them a cart to haul the items up to the elevator easily. The delivery driver then stated that “I would have to come down and get it myself” in which I responded back stating that I ordered delivery for a reason, and that I’m not home right now due to expecting the delivery much earlier. They disregarded my message and had the audacity to mark my order as “delivered” and attached was a picture of ALL OF MY GROCERIES OUTSIDE OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX. not the lobby, not the elevator, not by my unit. OUTSIDE OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX for anyone to see and have access to it. I rushed to get back to my residence as I was worried that my groceries were going to get stolen and behold.. MY GROCERIES WERE TAKEN. I also enrolled in the FreshPass membership yesterday for the first time given that I ordered groceries from here before, but that was by far the WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE I have ever had. All those groceries gone. I then contacted Customer Service immediately after talking with the front desk of my apartment complex trying to figure this out, in which my apartment stated that there was essentially nothing that could’ve been done due to the fact that the groceries were placed outside which isn’t the property’s responsibility as delivery couriers are responsible for delivering it to the specific unit, and all they noted was that “a complaint was sent to the store” but didn’t refer to anything regarding a refund for items that I DID NOT RECEIVE and the chat ended. I then contacted customer support through the Randall’s app and escalated the issue and they stated that they have “sent the request for a refund but is up to the store manager” and I’ve also contacted customer support for corporate but nobody has gotten back to me yet so if I do not receive a reasonable timeframe for resolution then I will escalate it with my bank for products and service not received. Then to top it off, the Customer Service Representative didn’t even apologize for the issue or for the inconvenience but rather stated that in the event that the refund gets approved, they’ll credit me $10 like that would actually resolve everything that I went through. And then on top of that, when you order delivery, there’s a prompt upon paying asking to tip the delivery drivers but this is the service that I get when it was paid for? I’ll continue going here just because of the convenience of where this store is located but I will NEVER and I mean NEVER order delivery as a service offered EVER again.

    It’s open earlier than almost anything else in this part of town. It’s on the smaller side for a grocery store. It was clean, with a nice variety of snacks and beverages. I was looking for a place to sit down for a few minutes, but although they have an empty second floor with an outdoor patio area; there is not a single table or chair. I’m sure it prevents the occurrence of lower income and homeless people; but I would expect more from such a large chain grocery store.
