  Super impressed! This location was incredibly clean, and the staff was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. We’re really glad we decided to give Portillo’s another try. This experience was far better than the location we visited in Chicago, which almost discouraged us from coming back. So glad we did!

  1st time visiting, not sure what I was expecting but I was disappointed. The atmosphere is a 10 but ordering your food was not good. It took 20 minutes to get 2 hotdogs, and wad told that was normal, the restaurant was empty. Them more customers came in and the received their food under 10 minutes. Anyway the food was not all what the hipe was. Ashamed the restaurant atmosphere but staff and food not so good.

  Total waste of hard-earned money. Every item in my order was cold. The lettuce was wilted and the bacon on the burgers were half cooked and full of grease. The order was missing items (an order of fries, onion rings and an additional hot dog). The salad contained brown lettuce. I honestly believe that the order they gave us was an old order someone didn't pick up and they substituted all things in that order that matched my order. There was also a watered-down root beer that none of us ordered. It was a total cold mess!

  We went around 7:40 in the night and placed a order for 2 dogs and a beef sandwich with fries and drinks for 2. Waited almost 20min. for our order to be called. I went up to see what was taking so long because there was only 3 families there and a group outside. So as I went up to see what was the hold up they said order was ready. My order must of been sitting there a while because my onion rings were not hot and fries were not hot. Meanwhile the manager was sitting there the whole time on his phone. Got my order and had to take back one of my dogs because order was wrong. When I went up manager said while on his phone talking what was the problem? I told him my order had no onions and no mustard and they added onions with no mustard. So from across the seating he told someone to remake my dog and took my messed up one and left it there by him. So unprofessional. Any way food tasted like it should but manager was not managing just sitting on his phone while there was not a lot of people. There was no reason for a fast food place to take more than 20 min. on an order. This place will go down quickly

  I enjoyed the $9.99 Big Burger Bundle deal at Portillo’s. I will say I was hesitant to order it because I came for the hot dogs but once I saw someone’s burger I couldn’t resist. It was delicious. It was the perfect portion for me. The crinkle cut fries with cheese sauce was yummy. I tried out the comeback sauce and that was ok. It had a tang that I’m not used to but I’m sure others might like it. My husband ordered a Combo Beef and Char Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich and enjoyed it. He wishes he had more peppers but I think it’s because it was loaded with a lot of meat. We also ordered the chocolate cake shake and that didn’t disappoint us. I will say it was interesting to see a small crowd and it was a wait for a Saturday night here. I’m sure it’s because it’s fresh and it’s still new.
