  This dont taste like the other one didn't even try the a banana pudding. Looks different. Fried chicken are too big and it tastd different then The OG as well...disappointed

  Whew! I ordered the beef tip plate with three sides: mashed potatoes, greens, macaroni, and cornbread, and it was more than worth the $30. They really loaded my plate up! I was able to eat off it for two days, no exaggeration. The flavors were absolutely on point, everything was seasoned just right. I would definitely recommend Mikki’s Soul Food Cafe if you’re looking for a true soul food fix.

  My dinner was amazing!! I ate cornbread and enjoyed it for the first time today. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy and the sides complimented the our meal perfectly. An excellent choice for a Sunday meal. I will order again. The value proposition can't be beat....

  I come here all the time literally and have never been charged for rice when I get smothered chicken, today they told me that the rice is considered an extra side. I paid it but I do think it is weird to start charging for a base of rice out of nowhere. I’ve neverrrr been told my rice counts as a side, EVER! Paying $5 + for rice is ridiculous. The customer service is usually always good , but today I was definitely rubbed wrong because now I don’t know what to believe as far as pricing goes. Paying for an extra side is not an issue but the credibility of the workers is an issue because why am I being quoted different things? I get the same thing 4/5 times when I come. And now all of a sudden it’s considered an extra side…. That was never specified before.

  The best soul food cafe in Houston Texas. The vibes walking up are very welcoming. The staff is amazing and so is the food you will not be disappointed. The price is affordable and you really get your money's worth. I had got so much for my money including a delicious cake. I'm so happy I came here today because now I can tell everyone I found a new spot. This place is amazing from the moment you walk through the door. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this place. It felt like a long time family member welcoming me into their home. It's a beautiful establishment inside. It's very spacious and modern with plenty of seating . If you are having a large business meeting this would be excellent. It's so beautiful and the food is perfect. They made everything with love and you can tell from the first bite. This would be a perfect first date or anniversary spot. If you're thinking of where to go tonight get in your car and stop by. Thank me later and make sure to take pics and give them their props ! They deserve an award for best soul food in our city!
