  Friday nights here have been the highlight of my week. - big shout out to the vocals: prowler, & dee who keeps the drinks friendly. 7:30-10:30 this is the place.

  This place is amazing. Would definitely add their burgers as some of the best in the city! They’ve adjusted their hours a bit so please visit them when you can as it’s an absolute unknown gem in the Heights.

  This is the best burger/beer you'll experience in Houston, 11/10. Shelby is so patient and a fantastic guide, just had the best double smash burger ever. Field of Dreams, pickled jalapeños on the side, add a sunny side up egg. Dipper fries. you're welcome, bbs 🫶🏼

  My girlfriend and I went to Matty G’s for the first time and sat at the bar, and we had such a great experience. Our bartender, Dee, was incredibly friendly, gave us awesome menu recommendations, and even let us sample some of their tasty draft beers. Phowler was the entertainment for the night, and his voice was smooth as butter, he really set the vibe and made the night even better. We’ll definitely be coming back!

  After having dinner next door, we walked into Matty G’s and saw Phowler perform live. The music and drinks were great! Phowler does Teddy Swims covers that are phenomenal.
