Visited Mad Dog with my family after hearing a lot of hype about their hot dogs. We came all the way from Australia and were excited to try their food.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The hot dogs were served cold, and when we informed the person at the counter, he said he had warmed them up and insisted they were fine, then walked away without offering any further help or service.
My family was very disappointed, especially since we are used to high-quality halal food in Australia, and this did not meet our expectations at all. We were really looking forward to this visit, but the food quality and customer service were not up to the mark.

I've come here several times after trying it for the time. The food don't disappoint with some exceptions. I would like if they would add pickled jalapeños abs red onions to the menu. Other than that, it would definitely be one of my after hours midnight snack places to go. The burgers are nice sized and not too overwhelming. They're just right👍👍👍

I'll be honest. Pulled up after checking the place out online and it was empty. So we checked the reviews again and gave it a go. Very very good!
We had the mad dog and elote. Plus a kids dog. The ketchup was very good, like a bbq ketchup maybe? The hot dogs were full of flavor. Wish this place was closer to us on 59n. Definitely worth the stop in while we were over here!

If you’re in Houston and haven’t tried Mad Dogs yet, you’re missing out! This halal spot is seriously a hidden gem. Whether you catch them at the food truck or restaurant setup, the quality is always on point.
The smash burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The hotdogs are next level—loaded, creative, and packed with flavor. And don’t sleep on the sandwiches either, everything is made fresh and hits every time.
On top of that, their lemonade is refreshing and the perfect combo with any meal. Customer service is solid, and the vibe is always welcoming.
Definitely one of my go-to halal spots in Houston. Highly recommend tapping in—you won’t be disappointed! 🔥🌭🍔🥤

I went after 11 pm grabbed a chilli dog fries and a double smash. They forgot to give me the frys and i didnt wanna go back inside to ask for my frys i was too hungry. The burger was alright it was too hot initially to eat. Didnt taste much sauce. I was pissed i paid for frys and it didnt come with my order. I wasnt in the mood for games for the free frys i was in the mood for food. The hot dog was just ok as well it didnt taste very hot just like it had been reheated. The chilli had a spice but they forgot my onions that i paid 50 cents extra for so again i was kinda annoyed. I came by cuz i heard nice things but i wont be coming back. Got burger king treatment with way higher prices tbh. Do better
