The staff at this location is rude. I am a huge H-E-B fan and have shopped almost exclusively at H-E-B for the last decade. I’ve never had an experience of H-E-B staff being consistently rude or not customer service focused. The H-E-B culture seems strong and focused on positive customer experiences. We moved to the area about seven months ago and originally I wrote some interactions off as isolated experiences, but the attitude of the staff seems to be a top down problem. In general, much of the staff lacks warmth, friendliness, smiles, and just general positive customer service that HEB is known for. Christian, who is a manager or a leader, was not very polite tonight. I bought the fresh berry mix that was packaged today and when I got home it was slimy. Customer service was already closed so I walked up to him and asked would I be able to return this even though customer service was closed. He advised he could take me on a lane. During the transaction, a cashier processed the return and he was overseeing. He did not apologize for the inconvenience or the bad berries, he did not smile once, he barely made eye contact and generally just seemed like it was a ridiculous concept for me to want to return $10 of slimy fresh berries I had purchased 15 minutes ago. If a leader handles customer interactions this way, you’re telling your staff that it’s OK to have that attitude. I also had a disappointing experience with Jachob in the bakery about a month ago. I went to get a custom cake and Jachob couldn’t answer most of the very basic questions I had, like do I need to pick a filling if I’m getting a sheet cake - he didn’t know. It got to where I just said OK, thanks anyway and went to Kroger to get a cake instead because I didn’t feel confident I would get the cake I was ordering. I’ve lived all over Texas and this is the only location I’ve had consistently bad interactions at. I’m a diehard H-E-B fan and it’s really sad to write this, but this store needs a major attitude overhaul.

There's never anyone attending the meat department at this location. Do better!

This is my usual local HEB store, my wife and I love this location. I love how produce is always fresh and stocked up. I also love HEB’s meal prep area, it’s extremely helpful for us to just buy a couple of the already made meals for the week! Although, I have never had a bad experience until recently. As we were checking out and paying for our groceries, we heard the cashier next to us Chris, going on and on with a customer, about how she thanks Trump for our current economy and how much she loves him. I don’t really appreciate those kinds of comments, theres no need to discuss your political views infront of other people. Also too, one of the leaders, I believe his name is Kevin, GOOD LORD is this man annoying. Hes always yelling, and I’ve noticed that hes always being mean and nasty to his younger employees. Most of the baggers and cashiers are very clearly kids still, and he always somehow manages to be rude to them for no reason.Someone needs to have a talk with these employees, and Management needs to do better when hiring their people, taking advantage of their employees just because they are younger is very distasteful to witness.

I recently went to pick up medication from this pharmacy. I was greeted by someone who obviously was very confused about his identity. I was very polite to find him rude, short, and emmitting an attitude that the whole world was against him. I should not have to experience this type of rude behavior from this employee, or any other employee that works for the pharmacy.

This store always has what I need and. The parking could be better, but it’s worth it because the store is so great.
