  I am writing to express my concern regarding an experience I had at your store earlier today. At approximately 10:03 AM, I purchased a cake and a gift card at your store. At the time of purchase, I requested a gift receipt specifically for the gift card. However, I did not receive one. I would like to understand whether it is store policy at HEB that cashiers are unable to issue gift receipts, or if this was an isolated issue with the cashier who assisted me (Kalea S). When I asked for a gift receipt, I was only provided with a standard receipt. Even after asking again, the cashier repeatedly referred only to the regular receipt and did not provide the gift receipt I requested. In my past experiences at other stores, I have never encountered difficulty obtaining a gift receipt when requested. Due to this situation, I had to go to the customer service desk while feeling quite uncomfortable, where I was eventually able to receive the gift receipt I needed. While I appreciate that my request was ultimately fulfilled, it required additional time and effort that could have been avoided. I hope that improvements can be made to ensure a more convenient and consistent experience for customers in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I would appreciate any clarification regarding your store’s policy on gift receipts.

  As much as I like shopping at HEB, I went here a few times only to visit another store afterwards. They don’t have alot of items like other HEB. Sure, if I want to get some water or something every grocery store has, I would go here. But if I have a long list, I’d prefer to drive further to other HEB as a one stop shop.

  Hello, I am writing to report an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience my son had at your store. While he was shopping before closing time, a manager Max approached him, followed him through the store, and told him, “get your stuff and let’s go,” stating that the store would be closing in 10 minutes. We understand and respect store hours; however, He was already inside shopping, and what made the situation concerning was that he was the only customer approached in this manner, while others in the same area were not addressed at all. The tone and approach were disrespectful and made him feel singled out. A general announcement or a polite reminder would have been more appropriate and professional. My family and I been coming to this store for over 20 years and not ever felt so profiled by anyone, especially management. I am bringing this to your attention so it can be addressed and to ensure customers are treated respectfully and equally in the future.
