    The meat market is almost always low on very lean meat, in particular today. I called to check when it’s usually stocked back up, I was informed in the morning that they were only stalking chickens this afternoon. So if I need one for a recipe I have to go to multiple grocery stores. Very inconvenient.

    Two stars because people here working the registers are nice. This is the WORST HEB in the state. They never have anything in stock and only ever the very basics in store. It’s terrible. Kroger across the street is actually better here which is unbelievably bad. Terrible.

    I frequently go to this HEB since I lived nearby and never had a problem until last Saturday, April 4th around 3:00 pm. I was in the check out line with an item that had a max limit of 4. I had 4 and my sister had 4 said items, we were checking out separately. Stephanie working at the checkout proceed to yell at us and repeatedly berated us that it was only 4 items. We tried to explain to her that we were not together and checking out separately. She didn't care and kept yelling at us, literally just screaming 4 the whole time. Don't know if she was racist that we didn't speak English that well or she didn't understand her own store policy. Had to get the manager involved. Stephanie got angry and left and we had to get checked out by the manager. Horrible experience, will not be recommending this HEB anymore.

    Don't even try to complain to a customer service when the seafood counter person gives you an attitude for no reason because they will literally transfer you to another store in Texas. I came to the seafood counter and was met with hostility by the person behind the counter the person was there between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. I suggest if this ain't your me wants a better rating they should probably evaluate their employees a little bit better and maybe check on them to see if they're doing a good job.

    I went into the store to get medicine and was glad to be back in an H-E-B. While shopping, I noticed a woman following me, but I continued browsing and did not think much of it at first. Later I realized it was the store manager, Ms. Lue. As I continued shopping, I asked my friend what we should eat and headed to the produce section to grab an orange. At that moment I heard “security in produce” announced over the loudspeaker. I then noticed the manager standing near me at check out and making a comment that was very upsetting and unbelievable. I turned to her and said, “Excuse me?” She looked at me with clear disgust, believing I had put something in my purse. I immediately offered to open my bag and asked for an apology for the disrespectful accusation. I was still ill at the time and my voice was limited, but I tried to calmly explain myself. Despite my willingness to cooperate, she responded by saying, “I have it on video.” Knowing this accusation was untrue and that the situation was being handled unprofessionally, I asked her to show me the video. Instead, she loudly yelled, “Call security,” in front of other customers and asked to leave. When security arrived, I explained that she was mistaken and that I had done nothing wrong, especially not stealing. What should have been a simple trip to buy medicine during the holidays turned into a humiliating and upsetting experience. I submitted a complaint regarding this incident, but I have not received an apology or any update. I believe it is important for employees, especially managers, to demonstrate professionalism and proper management skills when interacting with customers.
