    I am documenting this experience due to the manner in which it was handled, as it fell well below the standard of professionalism I have consistently experienced at H-E-B. On a recent visit, I spent approximately $300 at this location. Upon returning home, I discovered that two items were missing from my purchase. This was the first time I have ever reported missing items, despite being a regular customer at this store for over a year and a half and routinely spending significant amounts weekly. I contacted the store the following morning and was advised to return with my receipt at my convenience to either receive a refund or replacement items. When I returned several days later, I was informed there was no documentation of my call. The associate then contacted management, and I was told that camera footage would need to be reviewed due to the dollar amount involved. While I understand the need for verification procedures, the manner in which this was communicated and handled was inappropriate. After explaining the situation to a manager, I was told a refund would be issued. However, upon returning to the counter with my card, I observed staff whispering to one another in close proximity, within earshot, which was both unprofessional and unnecessary. I was then informed that camera footage allegedly showed I had received one of the items, followed immediately by a statement that the refund would be processed regardless. This contradiction, combined with the prior conduct, created the clear implication that my honesty was being questioned. To be clear, I have no incentive to misrepresent a $20 item, particularly as a frequent customer who shops at this location weekly and also spends considerable time here in the course of my work. The issue is not the refund itself, but the manner in which the situation was handled. Customers should not be made to feel scrutinized, embarrassed, or implicitly accused when attempting to resolve a straightforward issue, especially when following the instructions provided by store staff. This experience was disappointing and inconsistent with the level of service I have come to expect from H-E-B. I trust this will be addressed to ensure similar situations are handled with greater professionalism in the future.

    Their security doesn't know what a one way is and will allow people to hold traffic for someone to park in a parking lot thats already congested. Not going g to waste my time coming here.
