I don’t even know where to begin. This was hands down one of the worst grocery experiences I’ve ever had. I placed an online order from HEB on San Felipe and was absolutely shocked by what I received. Every single fruit and vegetable was in terrible condition — rotten, old, and completely unusable. By the time we got through the order, everything had gone bad. It felt like they deliberately picked the worst produce off the shelf and sent it our way. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the driver showed up with the bags already OPENED. That is a serious violation of privacy and food safety. How can you trust a store that allows this kind of behavior from their delivery staff? This is completely unacceptable. No quality control, no professionalism, and zero respect for customers. I will never order from this location again and I strongly urge everyone to stay away. You deserve better than this.

H‑E‑B is my go‑to grocery store whenever I’m in Houston, TX. My wife always gives me a list of H‑E‑B favorites to bring home, and I stock up on my own meals for the week so I’m all set in my hotel room.

I actually love the store but yesterday I had the boiled crawfish 🦞, lobster tail, corn, potatoes and sausage and it was way too salty to enjoy. I actually had to rinse them off with water and then eat them. Had an awful headache too. Definitely won’t be trying this location seafood boil EVER again!

I love this store but I hate that around 8pm they start bringing the pallets out when people are still in the store making hard for us to get things due to merchandise and stacked pallets being on the floor I understand it helps the employees maybe finish on time but it is a liability….. and inconvenience to people that come to the store after working late

I really enjoy this HEB. It's clean, well stocked, and has lots of options. However, I feel that the cashier staff needs more training, in terms of handling alcohol. Today, I had to tell a cashier to stop throwing my craft beers down the conveyor belt into each other and other products like they were bowling. This frequently happens and now I am looking out to stop it when it does. Craft beers are a bit more expensive than domestic and I always try to set them up in a way that looks like I want it to be handled carefully and so I don't get why they get tempted to just play with them instead. I would like to note also that I do notice the kind of unfriendly atmosphere from some of the cashiers. Some of them are great, some are just doing their job which is fine to me, but some are very discourteous and unprofessional. Stuff like ignoring the customer, talking to someone else the whole time, or having some weird passive aggressive behavior. I had an issue with a machine malfunctioning and the person assisting me held me up for nearly 10 mins trying to fix it even when I tried to insist over and over that I would just go to a different machine. Didn't even apologize when she realized she couldn't get it to work and had me waiting for so long. Just said okay and walked away. And yes I was being kind the whole time. I saw other post talking about the cashiers so I thought I should add my experiences too in hopes of a productive influence.
