  I been coming here for years. I did notice some changes in the food. So they must of changed cook or someone. But, the Spare Ribs are Still The Best! 😋😋😋😋

  Hands down, Gatlin’s BBQ is one of the best barbecue place in Houston,Tx. I have been a customer for over 8 years and the food has remained consistent the entire time. You’re greeted with great customer service and love. If you live in Houston and or visiting, I highly recommend that you give them a try. Tell them that Nathaniel sent you. 🙏🏾❤️💯🍽️

  I've been eating at Gatlin's since they were in their original location in that little shack on 19th St. And while some of their offerings might be surpassed by some of the newer contenders in the BBQ world like Pinkerton's, it's still very good food being served by great people. Don't go to Gatlin's and order the trinity and expect it to be at the same level as Franklin's or Burnt Bean Co., you'll be disappointed. Try their ribs instead, or better yet, get the turkey sandwich, it's one of my favorite bites of food anywhere.

  We had 2 meat and 3 meat . The home made bread pickles and onions home made. Brisket very good juicy and tasty. Pork spare ribs good bite seasoned well. I had the house sauage spicy but good stuff. We had a good meal for late afternoon. Very impressed will be back.

  This is the best barbecue restaurant in Houston. Best ribs, for sure. Love the brisket and chicken to pieces. The sides (smoked corn! slaw! greens!) and the sauce are fantastic. But the real difference maker is...the owner, Mother Mary. She runs a friendly, immaculate restaurant. One of Houston's finest!
