Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I literally just went through the drive thru order # 703592. The guy that took my order didn't want to speak and when I told him I couldn't hear him, I annoyed him. I asked for no grilled onions in my patty melt and on purpose had them lather it the melt. He needs to fix his customer service skills and communication!!!

Don’t come here unless you are prepared to wait up to one hour for your meal. We’ve given this place multiple chances. A few times ago we went through the drive-through and waited literally over an hour, they told us when we went inside that they somehow forgot about our order. Wanting to give this place another chance since they built a new building, and we were hoping efficiency had improved. Came in for a dine-in order today, literally still waiting for 30 minutes and our order has not come out yet. Only come here if you are a glutton for punishment (which apparently I am) with all the time in the world in your hands.
Edit: we eventually received our order by the 38 minute mark, but the order was incorrect. By that time we were too hungry to care. Definitely will not be returning. The employees are friendly, but this does not make up for the lack of efficiency and poor management

It was 10:15am on a Saturday and the line was 4 cars long. It took me 23 minutes to get 2 honey butter chicken biscuits and a biscuit, then my order wasn't even fulfilled correctly. I asked the worker if they were short-staffed and they said no.They must have rocks instead of employees here.

We are longtime customers of the Drive Thru on 59. But the Drive Thru at the new location needs help. We have ordered at the drive thru 3 times since the opening of the new location and our order has been wrong each time. We either get cheese on our taquitos, when we say "no cheese" or we get no potatoes when we order a taquito with egg and potato.

Please train your staff! The location is brand new so the building looks great but their employees are horrible. I just walked up to tell the cashier we were missing 4 or 5 things from our order that was just handed to us in the dining room and she just spaced out and said ok then took everybody else's order in line behind me before she told anyone to get what we needed so our food was cold. In the grand scheme of things it's not a huge mistake but paying $45 for 3 people to eat just get the order right and don't roll your eyes at me when I ask for all the missing items I paid for. Her exact words, "I was gonna bring them to you I was just taking everybody's order." Maybe finish one order at a time. Just a thought.
