Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Manager was very attentive, I wish I could’ve gotten her name. Best Monterrey melt I have ever had. Food was freshly made for me. Thank you for giving me a great dinner today!

I placed a $30 drive through order at 3:30 am. I asked for three taquitos. I tipped her $3 (without a thank you). I asked for picante sauce and she said she put them in the bag. I didn’t check and made the 20 minute drive home, I opened the bag and found TWO picante sauce packets. I’d like to know if she’d only need two total picante packets when she ate three taquitos!!! Sad…. Rude…. I won’t ever go back.

Usually I have no complaints with this location, but tonight I had a simple order that ended up being a complete hassle unnecessarily. I'll start with saying that this may be a disconnect with the app itself or a lack of training being that the drink option is fairly new, but I arrived in the drive thru and ordered an sweet tea lemonade (Arnold Palmer) with craft lemonade and no ice, as I have regularly at other locations with no problem. The young man asked what size did I want for the craft lemonade and I clarified that it was a large sweet tea WITH craft lemonade, and he immediately shut me down saying that they can't do that they only can add the lemonade light from the soda machine. I said "I swear to God you can" and he replied "I swear to God you can't". I then said "Okay I'll order it through the app and I'll be right back", so I left the drive thru line, found a parking spot, and ordered it through the app with zero problems. I drove back up and told him I had an online order and requested for him to call it out to which he ignored completely telling me to just pull up to the second window. I asked him again could he confirm the order and he said that he couldn't see online order details and suddenly I hear a lady supervisor say "Sir please pull up to the second window". Now I'm all for taking accountability and standing down when I'm wrong but I knew I was right, and they made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. As I got to the window the lady supervisor told me that the only way to get that option was through the app, and I told her that's odd because everywhere else does. Not to mention she handed me a drink with ice and I'm 100% positive I hit the X on the ice option on the app, so she gave me pushback on that saying it doesn't show no ice on her side. As a customer who frequents this location I felt like I was gaslit for absolutely no reason being that I ordered only a drink and no food. Maybe it's the app or maybe there's a specific way to key it in to the register that they weren't privy to, but the fact is I wasn't telling them anything incorrectly, and instead of a simple apology for the mixup I felt like I was asking for too much at a Whataburger. Imagine that.

The woman y'all have working the nightshift is by far the most rude person I've ever experienced in a drive through I understand it's late at night but if you hate your job just quit don't take it out on your customers.
