Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- TTTwino56Feb 24, 20261.0The Absolute worst whataburger in Houston. Idk what the issue is but there is ALWATS A WAIT! I work nights near by and I’ve been to this location a few times. I tried going at Different days & times but it never fails. There could be nobody in the drive thru and some how there’s still a 15min wait. I went tonight 2/22/26 for the last time. I did a pick up order that was scheduled to be ready at 11:15-11:18. I go there at 11:14 and there was a line but that’s normal. I sat behind 3 cars for about 30 mins. Finally get to the speaker tell them i have a pick up Order they say pull to the window. I finally got my food at 11:55pm. i have a 30 min break so i was late back to work just because of the poor time management. Idk who was back there but they had no urgency about getting the orders out. This location SUCKS! And should either close down or get new management. It’s FAST FOOD not “let me take my sweet slow time with all the orders food”. It’s just flat out ridiculous!
