Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

WORST WHATABURGER EVER.
I've never had an experience at a Whataburger like I did at this one.
It was dirty, the staff seemed to have zero training, and service was just awful.
It took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge that they had customers waiting to order and there were boxes everywhere.
I ordered a chicken sandwich and my boyfriend ordered breakfast taquitos. Took them a whole 20 MINUTES to get the food to us AND got the order wrong 🤦🏻♀️
People in the drive thru were getting out of their vehicles and coming inside to see what the hold up was. It was chaotic for absolutely no reason.
This location needs better trained staff but, until then, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
I'd give them zero stars if I could.

I frequent this location quite regularly the morning. Staff is usually very on top of it very cordial friendly but on this day under the leadership of the manager, Jimmie, everyone was dragging their feet. I walked in. There was a young lady waiting for an order meanwhile there was three or four people scrambling around in the back I had to flag down a worker & she’s like I will be right with you. I proceeded to wait another 3 to 4 minutes And so I was in a rush. I just said forget it and as I was leaving, I thought I’ll go through the drive-through get through the drive-through young lady who said she’ll be right with me took my order over the speaker when I pull up to the window. I’m waiting another 4 min while the gentleman lollygags with a customer in front of me, I called back and speak with Jimmie he says in a very melancholy half drunk voice oh, I’m sorry about that. We’re a little short staffed. Well you had nobody in the restaurant one customer in the drive-through do better!! This is especially offensive to me because I frequent this location and I know that this is not their standard, the GM needs to do a pop-up visit on the weekends to see how your shop is being run.
