Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered a Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich, Whatasized fries with no salt, and a Whatasized Dr Pepper, along with an Avocado Bacon Burger (sandwich only) and a Whataburger with just ketchup and cheese. The cashier, Olivia, a female employee with visible tattoos working the front register, was unable to answer a basic question about what comes on the breakfast bowl. Instead of finding the answer, she and a male employee were laughing and playing around on the microphone. This behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate for a customer-facing position. We waited over 20 minutes for our food, only to receive an incorrect order. I was given a medium Dr Pepper instead of a Whatasized, and medium fries that were salted and stale, despite clearly requesting no salt. Between the long wait time, incorrect order, poor food quality, and unprofessional conduct from the cashier, this visit was a complete disappointment. Management needs to address employee training and accountability at this location. She needs to be fired.
