Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Love the new management here. Best experience I've ever had with someone not getting my order correct. Watched the manager patiently teach his new employee while calling in another associate to help relieve the line growing inside. It was refreshing to watch someone stay calm and work through a difficult situation while the pressure was on and also offered coupons after the mistake was corrected for our time waiting on the remedy on xmas eve. This locations quality had gone down after awhile im glad to see the man step in and make a change here after bad experiences.

    Miss Gwen is an absolute Angel. She needs a raise. Definitely cannot believe how kind is. I wish there were more people like her in this world!!!

    Truly depends on the day you go, 50/50 and usually the service is trash. You can tell no one likes or cares about the job. Just hired to breathe air, visit another location if possible. Overall one of worst locations on southwest.
