Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported long wait times, often exceeding 20-30 minutes, particularly during peak hours.

I order a JR Whatameal in drive thur
Order#525308
Service slow-had to wait for my food to be delivered to me. Fries and burger cold. I went inside to express my disappointment, with hesitation they gave me hot fried but the same cold burger. I left with no apology given by the staff. The burger buns were hard. In my dissatisfaction I discarded the burger.

This location is close to my work, I have been going there for a few months now, the food is always good and hot. There is a your lady that works there JAZZ and she by far is the best thing about the restaurant, a co worker and I were talking about the restaurant and we both marveled how JAZZ remembers our names and orders, she is always kind and also quick. JAZZ literally has a Master class in Customer Appreciation. JAZZ IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!

If you have somewhere to be or go I wouldn’t advise! Not only did it take forever for the food 20+ mins but also it was too SALTY! Somebody literally brought their sandwich back because it was too salty when I was waiting. Never again

Waited in the drive through for 20 minutes while the staff was walking around and laughing. Ended up leaving without my meal. This has been by far the worst whataburger I have ever been to. Definitely a place to stay away from.
