Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported extremely poor service, including long wait times, rude staff, and incorrect orders.

Ordered Breakfast Burger. Asked for extra creamy pepper sauce, but barely tasted a regular amount of sauce. Burger was still good and fresh, though it took a while. Cashier wasn't enthusiastic. Might return.

This store has gone to the dogs. The kids that used to work in here was so polite and well mannered. They have changed opening the inside. Only drive thru after hours. The people working now are not at all happy for some reason. You can tell by the lack of communication, never to smile. And definitely not the food. I made a special trip because my wife told me how good the big chicken ranch. It consisted of a chicken strip two tomatoes and two pieces of brown lettuce. One onion ring was almost as big as the dry chicken strip that was on it. Apparently they left off the ranch part and the big part of this BIG RANCH chicken wrap. Don't waste your time.

Food never hot and fresh…service super slow….i would be okay with slow service if my food would be hot. Always homeless ppl hanging in and outside of this place. Only thing hot in this place is the attitude being thrown around.
