Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Completely mess up my order, I’m allergic to pickles so I ask for not pickles and they put extra pickles, I could’ve died because someone wanted to be funny I would not recommend eating here they don’t take food safety seriously.

    I'm getting really upset with this whataburger. Do they think its ok to charge us for upgrades and then not give us our upgrades! We got a whatachicken sandwich with cheese and bacon. In this economy I want my cheese and bacon that I paid for!!!! ALSO they forgot to give me my damn sandwich from the beginning!! Luckily I looked at the order before we left! This is the second time they have messed up our order. My husband got a chocolate shake and he received a vanilla shake. 🙄 Do better Whataburger

    Took 40 minutes in the drive through to get 3 biscuits…. This is not the fist time it’s taken this amount of time. One time it also took 40 minutes just to get 1 large fries. They are very disorganized, don’t bring the food out in order for cars in line. So then some cars have their food but can’t leave because they are stuck behind a cactus doesn’t have their food yet.

    I would hope to have trusted Whataburger for good food/drinks and clean service, but today’s experience really shook that trust. I ordered a vanilla shake for pickup, and when I got it, I noticed what looked like some sort of contamination or residue right underneath the lid, which is highly concerning. It honestly made me feel uneasy. Cross-contamination isn’t something small; it can be dangerous. For people with allergies or sensitivities, even a trace of the wrong thing can have serious consequences. And for everyone else, it’s just not safe. When you order food or a drink, especially sealed for pickup, you trust that it’s handled with care and cleanliness. I’m not writing this to be harsh, I just really hope this helps the team realize how important it is to double-check every order, especially when handling items that can easily come into contact with other drinks or surfaces. Safety and cleanliness should never be overlooked. I really hope Whataburger takes this seriously and makes sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I just wanted a simple shake, but I ended up feeling concerned about what might have touched it.
