Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I got the menu mixed up and ordered the wrong item and I went inside to see if there was a way just the sandwich could be switched which the cashier offered before I mentioned that and said it was no problem. The manager had originally taken my order so he comes out and says “ SO YOU WANTED THE SPICY SANDWICH “ and I said yes sorry I misread the menu but she took care of it and he got defensive and goes “ IM THE MANAGER…..IM LOSING MONEY” …. he was upset… instead of him being okay with the girl making it okay for me he got mad. I understand it’s a business but the attitude from him was unnecessary. I was not causing a scene, I’m not confrontational whatsoever and I would have been okay with them telling me they couldn’t switch it out from the jump but since she offered I accepted. The manager however was rude and unprofessional for absolutely no reason.
