We came to celebrate my b’day. The restaurant closes at 9:00 pm and yet at 8:20 the were sweeping the floor and chairs where put on the tables for cleaning. Food was excellent and our waitress was great but it’s unacceptable to be in the middle of dinner and having the kitchen closing 45 minutes earlier, rushing you through dinner and the staff cleaning and closing up the place around you. Unfortunate to see such a great place being neglected.

The food was delicious, except they did have suadero tacos outside and they were super greasy but the food inside was good.

Día de los Muertos Event: The food was bland, the pan de muerto was like a brick, and the drinks were pre-made. The mariachis only played on one side of the restaurant, even though we were told they would go around the whole place they never came near the DJ area, where many tables and people were seated. The dancing was set up outside the restaurant, and a lot of people didn’t even realize it was happening. Thankfully, the DJ completely saved the music part of the night it was very good. Overall, the experience could have been much better.

The food was decent, nothing amazing, but overall okay for the price. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the service. Our server was overly intrusive, constantly interrupting our conversations and clearing items from the table before we were finished. They also kept pushing us to order more and made us feel uncomfortable for not doing so. It turned what could’ve been a nice meal into an awkward experience.

Wow what can I say. When I found this restaurant on TikTok it was a must see. Reservation was for noon on Sunday. I arrived at 11:20am, the hostess was kind enough to sit us down even before our reservation. The atmosphere was amazing, food smelled delicious at the front door. When we arrived to the table it had a happy birthday card on it and it was signed by the staff. That was a very personal touch. The waitress was AMAZING. She was very kind and attentive. Never had any issues with service. I did tell her about my food allergies to avocado and she even went and got me some fresh Aguachiles without avocado. She even offered the Ceviche as another option if I wanted to try it also. She remembered and brought me the Ceviche without avocado. Wow what flavorful food, and the spicy was just yum. We drove from League City that day and the trip was worth the wait. We can honestly say my family didn’t have dinner after that experience. We most definitely will be back to try more of the delicious food.
