Just wanted to stop in for a wrap and smoothie to-go, but I got a show instead. While waiting for my order this afternoon, the employees got into a shouting match with two customers, cursing and creating a scene. Whatever the reason (I think it was over a wrong order), it was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. The employees were still yelling and cursing even after the customers left, and after waiting 20min they also told me they forgot to make my order. I left without food.
I later spoke with the manager on the phone, who seemed unconcerned and blamed the customers instead of addressing the staff’s behavior.
I really hope they invest in some customer service training at this location but I won’t be back. Yikes.

Yes it is a lovely spot there's no doubt about it have people working in there that don't want to speak don't want to say hi I had a return therewas an attitude I said are you okay this morning and she goes are you okay this morning with another attitude it's not my fault that the drink did not taste as usual I had every right spending my money to return it and ask for another drink. I visited the Tropical Smoothie Cafe location on 34th with my 2.5 year old son. After ordering food and a smoothie, I attempted to take him to the restroom. The women's restroom was marked "employees only" and locked. When I asked an employee for access, I was told the manager does not allow customers to use it because of a previous incident involving another family. Instead, I was directed to the men's restroom.
Upon entering, I discovered the light did not work, leaving the restroom completely dark. When I brought this to the staff's attention, another employee told me to use the flashlight on my phone. I was very surprised and disappointed by this response, especially as a paying customer with a young child. When I pressed further about restroom access, I was told that "no one else has had a problem with it."
This experience is unacceptable and I will not be returning. Employees are a reflection of management and ownership- do better.

I am extremely frustrated with my experience at this Tropical Smoothie Café. I downloaded the app because I was excited to bring my cousin and show her the new place I had found. As a new member, I received a buy one get one free coupon, which I planned to use.
When I arrived, the first thing I saw was two employees sleeping on the tables. That immediately gave me a bad impression, but I decided to give it a chance. While waiting for my order, another customer came in very upset because he found a hair in his food. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employees showed no concern, and I even overheard one of them whisper “yeah, that’s her hair” after the customer left.
When I got my food, I noticed my total seemed high. I checked my receipt and saw that my BOGO coupon hadn’t been applied, even though I had told the cashier I would be using it. I asked her about it, and she called the manager to see what could be done. To my shock, the manager, Kashby, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Over the phone, she told me I “didn’t know what I was talking about,” claimed that my coupon “didn’t exist,” and said I should have caught the mistake myself before paying.
As someone who works as a manager in customer service, I know it is not the customer’s responsibility to ensure discounts are applied—that is the employee’s responsibility at the register. The way this was handled was unacceptable. Instead of helping me, Kashby dismissed me, made me feel stupid, and even mumbled her name when I asked for it so I wouldn’t catch it clearly. Her behavior was unprofessional, and honestly, I even felt bad for the employees because they seemed embarrassed by her attitude.
This was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

The smoothie and food was good, it's just they really don't greet or have a welcoming atmosphere. They were not rude..its just not a upbeat greeting I've recieved from other tropical places
