Paid $45 for a dry steak that I ordered medium rare. The food took forever and everything was overcooked. $45 is steep for a chewy over cooked steak and just overall terrible cut. The server took forever just to take our drink and food orders. They did not seem busy at all. Not impressed with this place at all. We were expecting more of a western themed with country music instead it was a guy playing maroon five or something.

We love Rustic and been there before, however the Uptown location the last visit was ridiculous! Took 2 hours to get our food. And that is not an exaggeration. Some people had their orders, not even taken. We had a fairly large party, but there were two servers. It was chaos. Even though on the way out, we were handed a card for some money off of our next meal. Everyone promptly threw theirs away. I don’t see us visiting the rustic again anytime soon. And the music was way too loud.

Came here today for a kid free lunch with my wife for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The vibe was kind of off from the beginning which should have been a red flag. It was almost empty and the hostess made it seem like we needed a reservation. Like yes, we have a reservation for your completely empty restaurant where there are zero tables available.
Once we got past that we elected to sit at the bar, a positive here is that the barstools were very comfortable.
We each ordered a beer and smoked brisket fondue. When the serve first brought it out we were really excited, it came in a cake dome filled with smoke but when the server took the top off to try and swirl the smoke as it escaped he spilled my wife's glass of water, shrugged and walked away. Accidents happen but he didn't offer to help clean it up and neither did the bartender who saw it all happen.
The "fondue" was basically Chile con queso without Pico de Gallo and somehow managed to be both watery and gelatinous at the same time. The brisket was pretty good but there was hardly enough of it for the price. The house fried chips it was served with were pretty good but didn't make up for the rest of the experience.
We left after we finished most of the fondue and our beers.

Love this place!! Such a fun vibe. And it’s huge!! I love the live band playing. The food is also really really good. We got the deviled eggs to start and they were some of the best I’ve ever had for sure. We also got the mushroom side and hands down the best mushroom I’ve ever had. I can’t explain it- it was thin sliced and marinated in something perfect. Then my mom and I both got the cedar plank salmon and the portion was HUGE- I loved it. Usually restaurants skimp on the protein, especially fish, so I really appreciate that they didn’t do that! They also cary THC drinks which is getting more popular, but hard to find in restaurants so I thought this was cool. Overall the vibe was great and the food was amazing. Will be coming back!!

I hate doing this, but my group's experience was abysmal. This is written from the perspective of someone who attended, not someone who organized this dinner.
We arrived. The place was nice enough and the atmosphere is good. There are some activities to do but not a tremendous amount - fair enough.
The appetizers were tasty and creative. I sampled several as the came around. I don't recall exactly what it was but they had a brisket tamale with corn (or similar) that was fantastic.
Not the fault of The Rustic per se, but adult beverages were organized in advance and drink tickets were provided to attendees - probably to keep our motley crew in check. However, when patrons were trying to order their cocktail of choice, many found that their drink cost double the vouchers (cost) when ordering. People all have different palates, preferences, and tolerances. When the spirits combine with the mixes/tonics/bitters/etc there is a delicate interplay that occurs and leads to strong preferences in the way people prefer their cocktails. A mere 1oz difference may change the dollar price, fair enough, but should not devalue the drink vouchers by effectively 50%. This standard was not uniformly applied across everyone which lead to more confusion as some essentially paid double what others paid for the same drink.
When dinner was served it seemed like portions were reasonable for the first several in line. However for a vast majority of us, we were left with what I might refer to as Gulag rations. (PHOTO ATTACHED). Personally, after seeing the portion sizes, I opted to get everything I could, even if I otherwise would not have selected that offering. I had a single spoon of corn soufflé as well as Mac and cheese, two asparagus, and probably 1 or 2 oz of steak. I was not allowed to get chicken AND steak from the hot plates. The explanation was "there needs to be enough for everybody." That doesn't jive though...they knew how many were coming and in fact, we had several who were not able to make it so a surplus of food would have been a logical assumption. To resolve this, I was told I could get back in line and wait again - these lines were quite long. Despite the recommendation to rejoin the queue, many were denied additional trips through the line. Many of us ate after we left.
The event that occurred before my departure really put the nail in the coffin. A group of us decided to take a photo together. Once we got through the drink line we stepped aside and all 4 of us set down the drinks for the quick photo op. After we completed the photos, our drinks are gone. Full, fresh ice, un-sipped....just gone. No care taken to notice there are 4 people standing 6 feet from 4 FRESH drinks or what the condition of those drinks are. Many opted to just go to the primary bar outside the private event and start paying for what they wanted.
