Their naan is my favorite because it’s it’s thin. So far there’s not a lot of Indian food to be found in the Heights area but this is by far the best among the other only two places I know of in the area. Also comparable to my favorite place out on Hillcroft & 59.

The front desk person suggested their Gully Chicken and it was absolutely outstanding, flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. I also ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi and every item tasted amazing. The biryani had great aroma and spice balance, the chicken tikka was tender and well-marinated and the mango lassi was refreshing and delicious. Even though it was a to-go order, the packing was neat, the portions were generous and everything stayed fresh and hot. Overall, truly impressed with the quality of food and service. Definitely recommending Monks to anyone looking for great taste and reliable takeaway!
