Quesadillas were the last straw on my recent visit. I asked if they could be made with vegetables instead of meat. I don't eat meat. The vegetable suggestion from the server was 'chicken'. I was bemused. We got past that and I specified which veggies I'd like. I made it easy. I chose only two. What came back was a layer of revolting glutinous cheese sandwiched between two soggy store-bought tortillas. No veggies. It had already been an ordeal with the server, who seemed incapable of cracking the slightest smile and struggled to appear remotely interested. I couldn't be bothered fighting about it. I will NEVER eat there again. One wonders why it is so quiet on a Saturday night. Well, this is why.

Chips and salsa (2 types, both pleasingly picante). A late lunch/dinner meal. You just cannot go wrong with that combo. I highly recommend La Perla de Jalisco!
