My expecting fiancée is a loyal supporter of the Subway franchise and a consistent consumer of their sandwiches; or may I say she was. This afternoon she was craving her favorite sandwich and was rudely refused service. Store hours are posted that this particular location closes at 8pm central time. My fiancée arrived at precisely 7:40pm and was confronted by the manager of this location by the door being closed in her face and locked. When she asked about their closing time, the young manager rudely stated that they were closed and that it is procedure that they close at 7:40pm. This is absurdly unprofessional and seriously upsetting that such a franchise would excuse this kind of behavior. As a previous Jimmy John’s employee, I can assure you that such behavior would be deemed unacceptable as well as not tolerated on any level. I will be speaking to corporate and the franchise owner about such unethical practices accepted by such an enormous brand. Tonight that brand has been tarnished, once again, by rude and unprofessional service.
