  Absolutely amazing! Space City Birria never disappoints. The food is packed with flavor, the portions are generous, and everything is always fresh and perfectly cooked. The birria tacos are hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had — juicy, cheesy, and perfectly crispy on the outside. The consommé is rich and full of flavor, the kind you can’t stop dipping into!   The food was delish! The birria was very good! The agua frescas are very refreshing! And the Mexican candy drink makes you go uuuuufff 😖in a good way! Prices are not bad either! What made my night was my gingy cup! Way better than the Bearista cup!!! Will definitely be back when in downtown!

  Okay. I was excited going to this place. The atmosphere and environment were really cool. Unfortunately, I felt that my mom’s Birria and my Mexican-style rice was better than what I was served. Which was a bummer especially because the food was expensive. I think that my total came to ~$26. My two Birria tacos were $14, my drink (at happy hour!!) was $7.5, and I left a tip of $3.2. Maybe that’s just the price of food in downtown Houston, but given that I know there’s just got to be better here, it definitely didn’t feel worth the price. The beans were good though, and the staff was nice. Would go for Lotería on Thursdays though

  The food was delicious but very pricey. Quesadilla (average size) was $15 and the quesabirria tacos with consome $14 then we orded 4 small birria tacos that was $10-14 these are all entrees by the way no side or drink with that price. Because I was with my children and I wanted them to experience the tacos I bought them but I probably won't come back spending $50 with no drink or side for three kids was way too much. The portion sizes did not even match the price.they were still hungry after. There is a local truck that sells birria tacos and quesabirria for $5 and they are bigger than the ones sold here. They are also very tasty . I understand they want a prize for being a Delicious Restaurant from some Houston accolade but it was too pricey for me. The customer service was very nice though the manager kept checking on us and he was very pleasant. We were walking downtown and were very hungry so we decided to try.
