The sides were just as enjoyable, the cajun rice and mac&cheese are a must have. Im not sure what they are putting on their ribs, but they are doing it right! Highly recommend this place.

And will not be back anytime soon. But for future reference what time do y’all sell fresh food?????

So we ordered 2 of the 2 Meat plates both with ribs, 1 with Brisket the other with the Mild Sausage. For the sides we got Beans, Greens and then Mac & Cheese. They were all really good probably in my opinion the better part of the meal. As for the meats they were good but I'd say average. Some of it was a bit dry. But it was good. It had good flavors and a nice sauce that went along the well with the meat and made it taste better. The woman that helped us was very nice and she brought the food out in about 5 or 6 minutes, so really quick. We were just passing through on the way to Galveston, I think I'd try them again if I was in the area.

The BBQ chicken had no smoke aroma at all—none of that rich scent we’ve come to expect. Since the order was to go, our dog—who normally goes crazy at the smell of real smoked meat—didn’t react at all. No tail wag, no sniff, nothing. Big red flag right there. The chicken tasted like it had been boiled or oven-cooked, not smoked, with a soft, pale texture, zero char, and no seasoning. It didn’t resemble BBQ in any way—just wet and odd. Southern Q is usually so much better, which is why this stood out. Hopefully, it was just an off day, because this was nowhere near the quality they’re known for.
