  The best part of my visit was Ms.Melissa she was super duper sweet and knowledgeable about the menu , I came in with my daughter bc I promised her smash burger for getting honor roll and she made the experience amazing . I was greeted upon arrival she was super patient as me and my daughter viewed the menu. Food was ok . But the customer service Melissa delivered will bring me back to give it another shot . Thanks Melissa please get her a raise Smash Burger !!

  I rarely write reviews, but I made my first (and probably last) visit to this location yesterday afternoon when my son and I had a late lunch. Early yesterday evening, he experienced an upset stomach and my first thought was our lunch but then I also thought it was too soon to experience any symptoms since it had only been a few hours. However, I’ve had the same symptoms this morning and evening and this meal is the only one we’ve eaten separate from the rest of our family, who haven’t experienced these symptoms. The burgers were above average, the tots were really good and the fries were meh. Melissa happily took our order and was obviously doing her best to juggle multiple orders and seemed understaffed. ETA: I emailed Smashburger on 12/26/2025 per their response and have not heard back. 1/10/2026: Still no response from Smashburger

  I placed an order online for the Eldridge store and it was no option for me to tell them not to add the smash seasoning on my hamburger I called the store to tell them that I didn't want the smash seasoning and which I was having my order delivered and it would be an hour before the delivery when I call I talked and spoke with a very disrespectful unprofessional employee with a foreign accent there at Smashburger and he told me that they had already made my burger and the seasoning was already on it and I asked him how could that be because the burger was not supposed to be delivered by doordash until an hour later and the person started getting irate and yelling and screaming at me over the telephone I own a business myself and this is not the way you conduct business this is not about Smashburger food this is about the employee and the unprofessionalism that I was shown I told them that I wanted to cancel the order but they proceeded to try and send the order out anyway through doordash I will not be accepting the order because I fear that after the situation at hand who knows what that employee might do to my food I would think that someone would instruct that person or other employees on disrespectfulness towards the customers I love Smashburger with but I will not be ordering ever again because of this situation

  I ordered a single burger, and the cashier responded by telling me that I “needed a double,” without offering any "recommendations" to the customers ahead of me. This comment was unprompted and based on an assumption, as the cashier had no way of knowing who the order was for or whether I planned to order additional items. It felt unnecessary, inappropriate, and unprofessional. Customer service should involve taking the order as requested or offering neutral, optional recommendations to ALL customers equally not making personal assumptions. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as a coaching opportunity to prevent similar experiences in the future.
