- MVMiraya ValdezNov 15, 20252.0We came in as a large party (15) and were sat right away by the host, the manager and hostess then come up to us a minute later and asked if we reserved our table ahead which we said no. They then proceeded to say that we weren’t supposed to be sat there since it was reserved for a party with an attitude . The manager Dave then walked off angrily and was telling our waiter “I guess just leave them there.” Our waiter Saul was amazing no complaints there . But Dave was very unprofessional and was standing by our table staring at us for pretty much the whole 2 hours we were there which made us all very uncomfortable . Dave was also talking about us to other staff members (while still staring us down) most of the time as well.

She seemed like she didn’t want to be there, Didn’t speak to the patrons of the bar nor introduced herself being that she was standing in for James (who was awesome) and made almost no effort to provide decent service. I asked for my check and got no repsonse, not a “wait one moment while I grab your server” NOTHING. Made me feel invisible and unwelcomed for a place known for its hospitality.

My wife's salmon was dry and the house salad was pretty sad. Two of us ordered steak and they were tough and gristled. The NY Strip was very thin and difficult to cut. We each had different cocktails. They were... OK. A little too sweet and syrupy, the profile was more kid's drink than an adult cocktail.

They usually have a little trouble getting my wife’s steak cooked medium well, but this location got it perfect on the first try. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The food came out hot and fresh, and overall it was one of the best Saltgrass visits we’ve had. Definitely recommend this location!
