Very thorough, absolutely great customer service. This is how all service related places should be.
The effort is definitely noticed.
Don't be afraid to ask questions, or be random, they may have what you ask for.
I asked if they had cinnamon to add to the butter. They said we have it already in it, and went and got some.
Definitely ask for Cinnamon butter!
I also asked to be seated in a corner, and it was available. I imagine because people care more to watch tv.
Just do it! Thank me later.
I had the 20oz Prime rib with Urban topping (lemon butter, green onions, and shrimp)
Asparagus
Potato soup
3 loaves of bread with cinnamon butter
4 glasses of coke and 3 glasses of water.
They brought a pitcher so that I could refill my own water.
I had a very disappointing experience at Saltgrass. I ordered grilled shrimp, and while eating, I found a piece of wood inside the shrimp. This was not only shocking but also dangerous.
What made the situation worse was how it was handled. After bringing it to their attention, they still had the audacity to charge me for the dish. Serving food with foreign objects is unacceptable, and charging a customer after such a serious mistake shows a lack of accountability and customer care.
I expected much better. Food safety and customer service should always come first. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that at all.
This location is the best. Although he wasn’t my waiter, Sean tended to my every need and kept coming back to ask if I needed anything. Ann was very busy, but she immediately brought my bread up on arrival and drink. I appreciate both of them and I’ve always had good experiences at this Meyerland location. The food is great and The waiters are all working together there. Last week I came in and Hazel waited on me and she did an awesome job. Also, I wish all locations were the same.

I hadn’t been to a Saltgrass in over 10 years, but it seems to have been long overdue. This one is located in Meyerland Plaza, not too far from the Texas Medical Center if you find yourself in that area. My wife and I had a great time at this one. While the food was excellent, what really surprised us was the quality service. At the time of writing, the World’s Championship Barbecue is underway and Rodeo season is about to start, so the restaurant was packed. Even so, our orders were correct, hot, and came out extremely fast. On top of that, our server, Miles, was very kind and thoughtful. The appetizer that we ordered comes with tortilla chips, but they didn’t initially come to the table. We later found out that Miles has noticed that the chips weren’t fresh, and made sure to have fresh ones sent to the table instead. It’s a small detail, but one that made us feel valued as customers. I hope all of your servers take the same approach. All that being said, it’s a great spot for a hearty meal at the end of a long week. I expect that you won’t be disappointed!
I asked the waiter if I should do signature steak or prime rib. He recommended prime rib. It taste like it was made to be served to someone who just came out of geriatric surgery or something served in a cafeteria for people who cant eat seasoning. It has no flavor. Maybe why it's only served for 2 days. The salad and mashed potatoes were good. The bread was dry and not warm. Good luck if this place stays open for too much longer. They have too much competition out there to be serving mediocre products.
