    Management needs to have a meeting with the staff and get them to understand how important it is to slow down and verify the very order they took from customers less than 20 minutes ago is complete & correct! Waiters & waitresses in the food industry are flooding facebook with post DEMANDING a minimum of 20% Tips... my question is " For What "??? Do you think you deserve to receive 18% tips and higher when you haven't served me, you didn't bring me anything to drink. Customers are sick of being treated as if they are cheap simply because you think your worthy of tips that FAR EXCEEDED YOUR SERVICE! Especially when all you did was take our orders, submit them to the cooks, put them in a bag and hand them to us without so much as even taking time to see if the requested order is correct. Restaurants are closing in record numbers and its not just the economy causing the problems. Most employees aren't giving proper training, and it shows. The meal that I received was a good meal; however, knowing how much you paid for a meal, then realizing you gave a 20% tip on top, only to find that items you specifically requested for a reason were missing from your order is enough to reconsider ordering from this location again. So, check your orders before you leave.

    Katy was amazing! She was so helpful and informative and we never had to ask for anything! The Filet Oscar was delicious! Katy and the team helped us feed 40 guests during our seminar and it went so smooth and perfect!!

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Leadership & To-Go Service I want to recognize Cassie, the manager who assisted me with a to-go order at Saltgrass Steak House located at 8943 Katy Freeway in Houston. I was traveling for work and needed to place a to-go order with very specific requirements involving per diem limits, split payments, receipts, and rewards tracking. When I first called, I was transferred to the To-Go line and then to Cassie. I am so glad I was. Cassie was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly thorough. She walked me through current specials, including some online favorites, and helped me divide my order into two separate transactions so I could use my work per diem correctly before covering the remaining balance personally. She sent secure payment links for each transaction, made sure everything processed properly, and ensured my Landry’s Rewards account was attached to both orders. What stood out the most was her leadership. She shared that her To-Go team was running behind and that she had stepped in to support them. Even while helping me, she was managing other orders, placing me on hold when necessary, returning promptly, confirming payments, and making sure all receipts were sent and verified. The entire process felt organized and seamless. It wasn’t until the end of the call that I learned she was the manager, which made perfect sense. As a regional manager myself, I have tremendous respect for leaders who step in, support their team, and still deliver an exceptional customer experience. She could have easily asked me to handle it in person, but instead she made the entire process efficient and stress-free. Now, here’s where I need to own something. I meant to submit this review months ago and completely dropped the ball. Recently, I had to call back for a copy of my receipt for company documentation, and Cassie remembered me. She even said she had been looking for my review. That stopped me in my tracks. So this is me correcting that. Cassie is a true asset to this location and to the Saltgrass brand. Her professionalism, leadership, and commitment to service deserve recognition. Thank you, Cassie, for setting the standard. I appreciate you more than you know.

    This location is one the best. Today we accidentally ordered the incorrect plate and the waiter Wendy and the amazing manager Brian were kind enough to change our meal to a brand new one for the one we wished for. We appreciate their great customer service and generosity. They are the top and greatest tonight. Please visit them and trust me you will be happy, comfortable and satisfied with their service. The good was great. So happy. Thanks guys.

    Thank you Saltgrass Steakhouse!We had a fabulous pre-Valentine’s dinner last night at the I-10 in Hedwig Village Location. Most excellent service began when we were greeted by our Hostess Katie. Our Server Derek was exceptional. The ribs and our entire meal was outstanding. The managers Cassie and John checked on us throughout the evening. A VIP moment most certainly. We will see you all again very soon. Antigone and John.
