  I came in today during my lunch break and I had a server named Larry. Best service I’ve had at any Saltgrass that I’ve been to will definitely come back and shout to the bar.

  am extremely disappointed with the birthday dinner experience my family and I had at this restaurant. We chose Saltgrass Steak House expecting good food and respectful service for a special celebration, but the evening was far from acceptable. This was a birthday dinner, and we simply asked if our tables could be combined so our family could sit together. We were told it was not possible and that nothing could be done. What made this worse was that shortly after, another larger party was allowed to push multiple tables together. The inconsistency felt disrespectful and made us uncomfortable. The food quality was also unacceptable. Several steaks were served cold and were not cooked to the requested temperature. At least four steaks ordered medium-well arrived red and undercooked and had to be sent back. On top of that, the portion size was disappointing. One family member ordered a 10 oz steak that looked the same size or even smaller than the 6 oz portion, which felt embarrassing and misleading. A birthday dinner is a meaningful event, and our family trusted this restaurant to provide a good experience. Instead, we received poor accommodation, poor food preparation, and a lack of attention to basic service standards. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was very upsetting and to top it off it was over 600 $ and we didn't get to enjoy it or sit together we feel so played

  I had a great experience at Saltgrass Steak House and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a true Texas-style dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the service stood out. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being overbearing. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and checked in at just the right times, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. The atmosphere really captures that classic Texan vibe. The rustic décor, warm lighting, and Western touches throughout the restaurant give it an authentic steakhouse feel. It feels comfortable and inviting, perfect for a family dinner, a night out with friends, or even a casual celebration. The steak was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was cooked exactly as ordered, flavorful, and tender. You can tell they take pride in their steaks, and that’s what I would most strongly recommend. The sides and other menu items were solid as well — everything tasted good and complemented the main dish nicely. While the steak clearly stands out, the rest of the food is still enjoyable and well-prepared. Overall, Saltgrass delivers great service, a welcoming Texas atmosphere, and a steak that’s worth coming back for. I’d happily recommend it and plan to return myself.
