  This place is amazing! I was not expecting the great food that I just ate! And the service was amazing. Jhonatan was super nice and suggested us very good options! Thank you so much!

  So I had an interesting experience here. I’ve been here plenty of times before, but last night was different. I ordered a filet mignon 6 ounce. They brought me wha looked like a larger (not filet) cut of the tenderloin that was about an inch thick and very oddly shaped… It was overcooked to boot. I wouldn’t have minded it so much except for the fact that shortly after telling my waitress that I was a bit concerned that they sent me the wrong steak (I actually thought that they brought me someone else’s dish ) this very tall gentleman came out of the kitchen and approached my table and without telling me who he was or asking me, turned on his phone flashlight (which was MAX LEVEL bright) and pointed it at my steak and started talking very loudly to me in front of the entire restaurant and trying to explain to me how I was confused because a filet mignon isn’t necessarily always round and tender. Look I’m not an expert, but I did grow up with a butcher and I have eaten a ton of these steaks from all around the world, so I’m gonna upload a picture and let you be the judge. The waitress was great and very attentive. The host was very good. The service from the kitchen on the other hand was, in my opinion, subpar at best. I’m sorry, but don’t charge someone $31 for a 6 ounce filet mignon and bring them what looks like a thin cut of the upper regions of the tenderloin… I know it’s from the same part of the cow but anybody reading this knows that there is a difference in price and taste.

  My husband, daughter, and I decided to go to Saltgrass (N.Shepherd) location for lunch. Although we frequently patronize Saltgrass we’ve never been to this particular location. We walked in and told the greeter that we would be placing a to go order. She then directed us to another gentleman, again I explained that we wanted to place a to go order. He then sent us back to the greeter and said “give them a menu”. We attempted to place our order at the bar. We stood there for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged. I told the bartender that we wanted to place an order he told us to wait. The employees were not welcoming at all, in fact they were quite rude. We felt so out of place we decided to just leave and go elsewhere. When we got into the car my daughter said “mommy they were rude”. Horrible experience, I would have rated a zero if I could!

  We went to Valentine's Day dinner and it was super busy. We got there and there was a 45-minute wait, but we were told they had some open seats at the bar, so we took those instead.The service was great – 10 out of 10! The drinks came quickly, and while there wasn't tons of elbow room, it didn't really bother us. We had a really delicious meal and enjoyed chatting with the people next to us too.

  Always a great date night spot! My husband and I have gone to Saltgrass on Valentine’s Day every year since we started dating due to my love of the restaurant. This year was no different despite the addition of our first daughter in December. We made a reservation on only table. When we arrived, our reservation was not in the system due to a glitch. Despite this, they rearranged things and had us sat in 5 minutes. Tristan, the hostess, made sure we were well situated. The manager made sure we were taken care of and got us a sling for our daughter. Rosa, our waitress, was amazing and took great car of us. I am a bit of a Sally when ordering, if you know you know, and she took every modification and made sure they were all met and accommodated. Cannot wait for our next date night here!
