  My family and I decided to have dinner at Saltgrass Steak House this weekend, and it was honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and well organized. Our server, Emily G., absolutely made the night. She was friendly without being overbearing, checked on us at the perfect times, and knew the menu inside and out. She gave great recommendations (the ribeye was cooked perfectly and the loaded baked potato was on point). Drinks stayed full, and she kept everything moving smoothly even though the restaurant was pretty busy. What really stood out was her attitude. She had a genuine smile the entire time and made us feel like valued guests, not just another table. It’s rare to get service that attentive and warm these days. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for Emily G. again. Highly recommend!

  I had a great experience at Saltgrass Steak House, and a big part of that was thanks to Emily G. From the moment we were seated, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing, and her timing was perfect throughout the meal. Emily was also very knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. You can tell she really cares about providing great service and making sure her guests have a positive experience. It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism with such a warm personality. Because of her, our visit was smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. I would definitely come back and hope to be served by Emily again. She truly represents great customer service!

  I went to this Saltgrass to celebrate my anniversary for the first time and Emily G. Was amazing! Came out with an amazing energy, she recommended me an delicious drink, my food was out at a decent time, and tasted amazing! Emily G. Informed her manager about my anniversary and both surprised my husband and I with champagne and dessert 💖 I literally cried! Thank y'all so much for an amazing experience! I will recommend this place to everyone! Again, Thank you Emily G. and the rest of Saltgrass staff for making my day!

  My wife and I have gone to many of Landry's locations in our life time and apparently Katelyn, the manager here has a problem honoring reward points when my wife wants to use them. The threats from her over and over have become an issue to the point that upper management needs to know about it. If she needs to be on account then offer a solution and stop with the threats. If you are not part of a solution, then you are the biggest part of the problem Kaytlin.

  We've dined at Saltgrass Steakhouse locations around Houston so we were ready to try the newest one located at Gulfgate Center (it was once a mall!) near the University of Houston and Texas Southern University that opened in September 2025. The Saltgrass exterior had a feature near the restaurant entrance that's not available at all the locations - a covered chuck wagon. We were promptly seated and Ashley was very attentive to our order requests - from the mushroom appetizer (we miss the crab cakes...bring them back please!) to the Pat's Ribeye, chopped steak and steak salad modified with salmon, each item was accurately delivered. Enough talk....entree photos provide how well the food was prepared, and how impressively large the Gulfgate Saltgrass Steakhouse restaurant interior is (in comparison to the Meyerland, I-10 near Memorial City Mall, I-69S just past S. Gessner locations). The Gulfgate Saltgrass Steakhouse restaurant seats just over 400 patrons (!). We will definitely return to the Gulfgate Saltgrass Steakhouse restaurant, and from the excellent food and service received, this location is now ready for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the FIFA World Cup events.
