  While visiting Texas, I was very happy to come across this grocery store. It's easy to run in and find what you need.

  Randalls advertises three prices on many products in their stores and if you do not scan with your phone every digital coupon, you will not get the lowest price, even if you have a reward card with them, you must still scan all the digital coupons, every single one of them, underneath every single item if you are hoping to get a coupon price. So if you buy 20 items with digital coupons, you must stand in the isle scanning digital coupons for each item which takes at least 20 extra minutes. Have they lost their minds! When I got to the register, I decided not to buy 7 items that I needed because I was going to have to pay at least double or triple price. On a few of them I kept, I just ate it financially. For instance, I thought I was going pay $3.49 for a tub of butter, but I ended up paying $6.99. In addition, they train their help to say well, this is your fault that you didn’t scan the coupon underneath the butter, I guess this makes Randalls corporate feel excused. Well maybe this technically excuses their trickery, but you have made shopping in your store an unpleasant crappy experience. I believe corporate executives at Randall’s who are typically males think that women have time to do this when they are shopping. Well guess what, we refuse to be disrespected in this way. I will never shop here again.

  I'm new to Houston, so Im looking good for a new grocery store. Randalls was very clean, fantastic product offering, and the staff was super friendly and helpful

  I had a very disappointing experience at this Randall’s location. My wife inadvertently purchased three items that were expired and only realized it once she got home. When I returned to the store to explain the situation, I was refused a return because I no longer had the receipt. I asked to speak with the manager on duty. The manager insisted that none of the items could have been expired and stated that the store performs daily and weekly walkthroughs of each section. To verify this, I walked back into the store and immediately found additional expired products in the meat section that were nearly a week past their expiration date. I also found milk intended for children that had expired in July, more than six months ago. This was concerning, especially given the manager’s confidence that expiration checks are handled regularly. Selling expired food and refusing to address it when brought to management’s attention reflects poorly on quality control and customer service. I would strongly encourage shoppers to double-check expiration dates before purchasing.
