When I returned to the store to explain the situation, I was refused a return because I no longer had the receipt. I asked to speak with the manager on duty. The manager insisted that none of the items could have been expired and stated that the store performs daily and weekly walkthroughs of each section. To verify this, I walked back into the store and immediately found additional expired products in the meat section that were nearly a week past their expiration date. I also found milk intended for children that had expired in July, more than six months ago. This was concerning, especially given the manager’s confidence that expiration checks are handled regularly. Selling expired food and refusing to address it when brought to management’s attention reflects poorly on quality control and customer service. I would strongly encourage shoppers to double-check expiration dates before purchasing.

It may seem small, but it makes a big difference in our experience. We notice when he isn’t there, and our visits don’t feel quite the same. He is a shorter gentleman with blonde hair and glasses, and he truly represents the culture and values of Randalls in a wonderful way. I hope he can be recognized for the positive impact he has on customers.
