I usually order the Poor Boy Brisket Sandwich with fries. This time I made the mistake of ordering a bacon cheeseburger. I had to wait over 30 minutes to get the burger. It was not good. Since I waited so long, I expected to get a fresh HOT burger with melting cheese, but instead I got a lukewarm burger that was mushy. If you go to Pappas stick to the barbecue, avoid the burgers.

Ive been to this location on Crosstimbers different times and it always seems to be something wrong each time. I dont like being angry or dissatisfied especially with food. So sending it back would not have been an option. But this time I felt I needed to address it. I will never be back to this location. I requested the moist side of brisket and it was dried out and hard on the bark. And yes i know the difference between the lean side and moist side. The ribs also was tough and chewy. I had the taste for BBQ because i just bought wings and ribs from the Hafer 1960 area on saturday. Being served that meat felt like no one is there checking for quality, only for sales. I hope someone takes this seriously. I started eating while driving and was instantly disappointed. Traffic was heavy, I had a long day at work and was hungry and wanted to get home. I wasnt turning around so I forced down half of it and threw the rest away.

Get home and they gave us the pound of sausage, but in the value pack they gave us brisket and more sausage. Pretty disappointed to have so much sausage after having our original order online canceled 20 min before pickup due to them running out of mac and cheese and then having to reorder and have our food delayed even more.
