Been coming here for years. Today was without a doubt the greatest service I’ve ever had at this restaurant and arguably top 5 I’ve ever received in my life. Skyler at the door remembered us and our table we previously sat at. She even said bless you as my mom quietly sneezed. Thank you so much Tierra. What an amazing job. So kind and so patient.so professional. We enjoyed the conversation as well. The patience and hospitality were absolutely amazing.

If someone has a clam allergy they should ask, take one bowl of Crawfish bisque off the menu, and give me chicken for my salad. The short red head with the round head need to honor customers preferences.

t's always a good experience at Pappadeaux's!
We have frequent diners at Pappadeaux, and it never disappoints from beginning to end. From the moment we walk in, the customer service at the door is welcoming and professional. We usually sit at the bar, and the bartenders are always attentive, knowledgeable, and confident in what they're serving. They really know their drinks and make the experience even better.
Food-wise, it's consistently excellent. I almost always order the Garden of Eden, and the grilled oysters are a must every time--so flavorful and perfectly prepared. My husband usually goes for the fried fish and fried shrimp, and he always enjoys his meal. The gumbo is also really great and full of flavor.
Overall, Pappadeaux is one of our go-to spots for a reliable, enjoyable dinner with great service, drinks, and food. We'll definitely keep coming back.

My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We've eaten here before. My wife had a seafood skewer and I had fried shrimp. I also ordered an alligator appetizer.. The alligator was awful. They're sauce was just as bad. The waitress said that they had changed it. I could have got that at Buffalo Wind Wings. My wife had to ask for bread and refills. She then asked for drawn butter for her scallops. The waitress brought something that looked like oil. I told her that was not drawn butter, and to tell who ever gave it to her to bring out, was an idiot. She took it away, but never came back with anything else. I grew up in restaurant business. My father had two restaurants. My wife worked at a deli. We know right, and wrong and right. I didn't berate the waitress. I still gave her a decent tip. As far as the kitchen, that's up to management. The person that I saw as the manager, passed our table numerous times, never smiled are looked our way, bothered to ask if everything was okay with empty glasses on the table. Your hospitality people up front are two young. They don't smile. Say thank you. They don't say good bye. Knowone was upfront, when we left. How about something like, Hey! guys thanks you, come again. Very disappointing. Probably won't go back. Hire people who know how to communicate with the public. In the long run I blame management. Train your people. Thanks.

We visited Pappadeaux Willowbrook Sunday, Dec 7th, for my mom's 75th birthday. We had a reservation for 16. Our server was Idhant. We typically have good food and service when we visit Pappadeaux. The food was good, but the service was a little lacking. Idhant was less than accommodating with some of our requests. Let me preface this by saying we've had these requests fulfilled in the recent past AND that I worked at Pappadeaux for many years, so I have some idea of what can and can't be done. The things that were denied to us/ issues we faced were having our catfish platter half fried, half blackened; getting the crawfish blackened inside the fondue, subbing fries on the brochette shrimp, Idhant serving a Pappadocious instead of a Pappadelicious and questioning what we ordered, then stating that it was a Pappadelicious, we just couldn't see the rum floater (he did bring a new drink out and put the rum on the side)... We also had 18 guests show instead of 16. We asked if another table could be added. Idhant said No, which we knew was a possibly, but it was the way he delivered the No. He could have been more tactful/ considerate with his response. He also could have come up with a better option than sitting the extra two guests at a table across the walkway, in a different section. We figured out a better way without his help, and everyone was able to sit together in the same section. At the end of the meal, Idhant was supposed to bring us our printed receipts, but failed to do so. A manager saw us waiting, asked what we needed, and printed the tickets for us.
My husband, son, and I discussed his serving abilities, or lack thereof, and decided that he was new, rude, or didn't want a big table. Another fun fact is that my family members have all been servers (Sito's, Saltgrass, Gringo's, Lupe Tortilla,...), so we know how it should go. Idhant let us down. I'm not sure what happened at the other end of the table, but I know some of the guests were not thrilled with their experiences.
