Date of incident: 12/12/2025 Time: 5:37pm My wife and I went there for dinner the hostess sat us down DIRTY TABLE (1) at a table that was dirty and covered in crumbs. NO CLEANING (2) she pulled the condiments from the center to a corner as she recognized it but no one came to clean it LONG WAIT TIME & NO MENUS (3) we waited an additional 10 minutes at the table with no menus, no clean up and no one to take our order or even bring us waters. IGNORANT OF CLIENTS (4) they weren't that busy as right behind our booth table where they sat us 3 servers were hanging around doing nothing near this red and white cart they have in the resturaunt LOST BUSINESS TO ANOTHER FRANCHISE (5) we left and went to another pappadeaux near our home the other location near NRG park where a young lady soon to be graduate in marketing with aspirations to work for the Texans gave us exceptional service and showed up to our table within 10 seconds of us sitting down we understand that some locations managment isn't doing their job but that doesn't speak for the entire franchise I wont be going back to this westhimer location and I Would always go i lived close by for 8 years After this review ill leave my stellar review to the location near NRG next!!

The menu offers a wide range of options, and the portions are generously sized. You won’t leave hungry if you like overly salty food. My seafood and dirty rice tasted very salty, and the shrimp were slightly over-grilled, as I could detect some burnt parts, which turned me off. The service was friendly, the place was okay, and it didn't take a while to get drinks and refills. The atmosphere is lively and casual, making it ideal for groups or family dinners. For what they charge, I was hoping to enjoy the food, but the salty taste was a disappointment. I wasn't able to feed my baby the rice or shrimp because of the salty taste. Overall, it was not a bad meal, but it also did not stand out compared to the price they charged. I was a little disappointed cos I had wanted to visit Texas Steak House, and my sister said I should try something different.
