Beware of recent car break ins at this location!!! Seems as though rental cars are targeted! 😡
Overall disappointed in my visit here, not what I expected from a Pappas chain. It was a stressfull, heartbreaking and costly birthday evening, marked by poor service, disappointing food, and inadequate security.

I am formally submitting a complaint regarding discriminatory and sexist treatment I experienced during a recent lunch visit.
My mother and I, both female, entered the restaurant dressed in casual clothing and requested a table for two. We were immediately told there would be a 15-minute wait. While waiting, we observed multiple open tables in the dining area. Although concerned, we accepted the information provided by the host staff.
Moments later, two men entered behind us dressed in business casual attire and requested a table for four. Despite arriving after us, they were seated immediately. There were clearly open tables that could have accommodated our party, yet we were left waiting.
We brought this discrepancy to a manager’s attention. Only after raising the concern were we seated at a table that had been open the entire time and with no apology attached. This confirmed the wait time given to us was unnecessary and raises serious concerns about discriminatory and sexist decision-making.
The optics and impact of this situation were extremely troubling. The appearance that casually dressed women were required to wait while professionally dressed men were prioritized is unacceptable. This experience made us feel dismissed, judged, and discriminated against based on both gender and appearance.
Discrimination and sexism have no place in customer service, particularly within an established brand that promotes hospitality and professionalism. This incident reflects a failure in staff training, management oversight, and guest equity standards.
I respectfully request corporate leadership review this incident, evaluate training protocols, and address potential bias in seating practices. Situations like this damage customer trust and brand reputation, and I strongly encourage leadership to investigate this matter to ensure all guests are treated fairly and respectfully.

First time for everything. Our waitress was pleasant. The drinks were good. But when it came to my meal. It was not good at all.
Idk what kind of fillet that was, but it definitely couldn't have been a filet mignon. I've never been served a wide and flat filet mignon. No matter the ounces.
I ordered medium well, when I got to my second bite. I literally gagged and spit it out. Even the waitress saw me sit it up and OUT. I couldn't eat another bite. My husband said don't eat anymore of that (you can guess the rest).
That steak was not medium well, it was medium rare. Our waitress was very apologetic. She took it back, and when the SAME steak came back to me. It was blacker in the outside and the inside was still RED. When the waitress saw it was still like that. She got the manager involved. I forgot the managers name (GIGI I think).
The manager was very apologetic as well. She explained their steak process, but it didn't matter. I was completely turned off by that piece of meat. She saw that we were about to check out. And offered something else. I didn't know what else to order after that. My appetite was gone.
But I could tell she really felt bad. So I took the gumbo, it wasn't good either.
The cheesecake and my drink were the best things I had Saturday. I should've known something was wrong. When the other waitress came through. To let me know the steak was taking a little longer. But all the other food was ready.
We enjoy Pappdeaux, but this was a turn off. Maybe an off night for the cooks.

We always come to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen — this is our family’s go-to spot. The girls actually call it “pescado” (which means fish in Spanish), and that’s how you know it’s a regular for us. We usually order the same thing every time because we already know it’s going to be good. The service is consistent, the food always tastes the same (which I love), and the girls truly enjoy coming here. I also appreciate that it’s kid-friendly and they allow families to come in and enjoy themselves comfortably. This will definitely continue to be our spot.

The food was good as usual, but we made a group reservation for 730. Didn't get seated until 850, and pretty much had to take our dinner with us because we didn't receive our meals until 930 or later. Had reservations at another location we we're scheduled to go. Our delayed reservation at Papadeaux shortened our stay for what we had planned afterwards. We only had 2 waiters for the 30 people that attended with us which I believe they should have assigned more to our group. Still tipped good because it was a management issue. Nothing to do with our waiters but they did the best they could. It won't deter me from returning but they need to be better prepared for large groups.
