Manager on duty, Sonia said the problem is the app and you need to go take that up with corporate after ordering two pizzas For the $9.99 specialty deal, the total came up to $20.69 for one pizza with four toppings charge me for sauce that I didn’t ask for. I came in beforehand to talk to her about what were the Purchasing circumstances of the deal, whether in store or online, after hearing the explanation From the manager on duty mind you, to me it seem like we were on the same page. Long story short if I made an error in ordering, that is my fault and no one else to blame Except myself.
She insisted that it was the app fault and that I needed to take it up with corporate. All I said to her that this was the experience of me using the app and I was trying to order two large New York style crust pizza, One pizza with meat and a few vegetable toppings, And the other vegetarian pizza. Somehow the order did not go through properly, and I was charged for the vegetarian pizza $22 and some change. Obviously that’s not what I try to order. Instead of trying to hear what I was trying to say when I was ordering, basically couldn’t see the itemized first Pizza and the second one and was trying to make sure when ordering the two pizzas that they came out to $10 each. Somewhere in the app, the first Pizza got deleted or didn’t go through, and the second Pizza was up charge and the $9.99 specialty deal did not apply to the Pizza.
The main Reason why I came into Papa John’s again prior last Friday, there was Uncertainty With one of the employees about The 999 special, as she said, she wasn’t aware of it, I then tried to explain what I heard on the commercial, and the reason why I came in today was to make sure what I read online and try to order online to see the logistics of What you can exactly order on this specialty,, The manager on duty happened to be there, and I had a whole conversation about this subject. So she knew firsthand what I was trying to do, and the order came out like that, she immediately got defensive and pushed the pizza towards me, with the receipts on top and said that you need to take it up with corporate, not letting me explain or try to let her know the discrepancy on my side when I was trying to make sure the order was right.
She continue to talk over me and not let me talk at all, basically telling me can I speak now, I have been listening to you, patiently, and I then responded with. I’m not even giving you a hard time we’re upset, I’m just explaining to you my experience with the app right now. She continue to explain her logic on how apps work and other businesses work, I felt like the situation wasn’t going anywhere, and quite frankly to be honest I was not Happy with the way she was talking to me the whole time, So I picked up my pizza and receipt and left and remembered when I looked up the address online for this Papa John’s, my GPS said this Papa Jon gets one star on yelp, is this the one you want, I said to her that’s why you guys have one star yelp and I turned around and left. I’m not wanting to leave bad reviews, but this manager at this store was asking for it. I will never ever in my life come back to this location. If I decide to eat at Papa John’s, I will drive even farther if I really want Papa John’s that bad. If I could leave zero stars, I would definitely leave zero stars.
